Posters had ~~whee handwavily~~ gone up in the dorms and town announcing two Student Council sponsored events during Spring Break. The first being Free Coffee Day on Wednesday, and the second, an Ice Carnival all day Thursday.

When people came down to the lobby on Wednesday, it looked like a set from the coffee shop in Buddies had moved in. In reality, the Perk had set up a second branch in the lobby and the beringed barista was there to provide coffee, coffee drinks (and tea and hot chocolate for the philistines who didn't appreciate coffee) as well as soup, sandwiches, pastries, anything a hungry Spring Break student could need.

The couches have all been moved into "conversation groupings" with funny lamps on wee tables providing light. There's a mix of reading material from terribly pretentious to comic books and just about any board or card game you could ~~mod~~ imagine.

Annette wandered down to the lobby after her phone call from her mother. She felt a little bad for lying, but knew that it was a worthy lie. Yes, she has categorized lies now. She might possibly burn in hell one day.

Oh, well, didn't serve a purpose to dwell on the hereafter. 'Cause look! There was coffee and patries and everything smelled wonderful down here!

She would get a coffee and a pastry and sit and enjoy what was left of her morning.

Ami had intended to stay up all night, but had fallen asleep for a few hours towards the end. When she woke up she decided that fluids were in order, so here she was, hoping for some tea.

"Hi Annette."

Mac is definitely not a girl to turn down free coffee when it's offered to her. This is like heaven.

She snagged a ~~totally vegan, omg~~ pastry as a mid-morning snack, and scanned the lobby to scout out a place to sit, while she waited for the barista to finish making her coffee.

"Ami!" Annette stared. "Why are you not in bed?"

Waved at Mac. "'Morning."

"I wanted tea." Ami said simply, getting herself a cup and sitting down on one of the couches. "If i was in bed, i would fall asleep, and i would rather not sleep. Ever."

"But, what about what the doctor said? I mean, aren't you...hurt?" Annette asked gently, moving to sit down by her.

"I am getting better." she smiled as she talked "He said to take it easy, and i am. I was in the common room on the couch all day and evening yesterday." She did not mention that she was also there all night.

Mac gave a quick wave back, before collecting her coffee with a word of thanks to the barista, and making her way over.

"Hey, Annette. Sorry I never showed the other night," she said with a contrite smile. "Were they as good as you hoped?"

She nodded a little, concern clearly written upon her features. "Okay, I just want you to take it easy. Do you want me to grab you something to eat? Something to go with your tea?"

"Oh, it was no big deal, really. I didn't stay long at all. And they were good, yeah." She hadn't gotten her coffee yet but would do so in a sec or two.

"How's things been going?"

No thanks." she held her hand open to show her ~~handwaved~~cup of apple sauce that she had gotten from her room. "I am sticking to the B.R.A.T. diet for a bit i think."

Tori had managed to get some sleep last night, after staying up with Ami in the common room. She had regained a little bit of energy, so she decided to head down to the lobby, intent on finding some food.

She still looked slightly worn out and the bruises were fading ever so slightly. Tori took that as a good sign.

She managed to find some tea and a pastry, it wasn't the greatest breakfast but it would do.

"Haven't really done a whole lot," Mac admitted. "But I guess that's what Spring Break is for, right?"

She glanced around the lobby. "Certainly not complaining about this set-up," Mac remarked. "Free coffee, definitely an instant winner with me."

Peter grinned at Annette. "Morning to you. How's your Spring Break?"

Sometime after Teddy had left that morning, Chad remembered that he should probably go to work. Part of him didn't want to, but he reminded himself that it could be a good needed distraction. Guitar in hand, he made his way toward the door and noticed the little set-up in the lobby.

Free food and much needed caffeine could also be a good distraction. He decided to grab something to take with him to work.

Peter nodded at Tori ~~because his mun couldn't remember if they'd met~~. "Morning. How do you do?" He took a second and looked more closely. "Are you well?"

Tori managed a small smile. "Good morning." ~~They met around Valentine's Day.~~ She shrugged and chuckled slightly. "I've been better."

He raised an eyebrow. "I should hope. Is there anything I can do?" ~~As I remember that now~~

She smiled back at Peter. "Spring break is pretty great, actually. How's yours so far?"

"The brat diet? What is that?"

"Yep, because I haven't either. Been kind of nice just doing whatever, whenever." She said, agreeing with Mac.

She smiled and looked around too. "I know it. And free pastries. Really there is breakfast, lunch, and dinner, all right here. I may not even leave the lobby today."

"Bananas, rice, apple sauce, toast. It is supposed to be good for when one is sick because it is full of nutrition but is not too exciting for the stomach."

"Tori," Annette said, walking towards her. "Are you sure you should be out of bed?" She was so worried for her friends.

She noticed Chad immediately. I mean really, who wouldn't? And she remembered her promise to Teddy.

"Hey, Chad." Annette said, approaching him slowly.
