4th Floor Common Room, Friday around Noon

Billy wasn't experienced with throwing parties. Fortunately this wasn't a party. There was pizza and soda, but that was it.

Except for the writing materials and even a sketchpad or two.

He wondered who would show up. Was there anyone else that he didn't know about?

Conner nodded. "I talked to the doctor at the clinic this morning. He said he's had six people total get checked in with signs of this stuff happening to them. I don't know if there are more who didn't get taken to the clinic, though."

"I really hope not." Tori admitted. "So, the six were me, Lana, Billy, Ami, John Connor and one more." She thought about it for a moment. "Wyatt couldn't find Chris... maybe he was abducted as well?"

Conner glanced over toward Liz. "I saw Liz over there in the clinic this morning, too . . . which means that yeah, if Chris went missing there might've been more than six. Which means fun of the not-so-fun kind that involves trouble."

Tori followed Conner's gaze to where Liz was situated. "Oh man. This is horrible." She shook her head, "Trouble, hooray." Tori was ready for some retaliation. "I just hope we can do something about all of this."

"Our track record's been pretty good with that so far." Conner was trying to be optimistic here. "So the odds might be freaky, but hopefully in our favor."

Tori managed a small smile and nodded. "That it has. I'm thinking they'll be in our favor. Ami has a map of some sort, so I think that puts the odds in our favor, at least a little bit."

Tori paused a moment and figured she should let him know. "We know what they look like, too. Ami made an ice sculpture of one of them and we both just knew that's who they were."

"The rotting-flesh-smelling guys?" asked Conner, grimacing. "I missed that. I'm kind of glad, but do they look, you know, butt-kickable?"

"Yeah, them." Tori nodded, grimacing. "I'm glad you missed it, too." She bit her lip in frustration. "They're not invincible, at least I don't think so. They can be defeated."
