Fifth floor common room, Monday evening

It was too cold and windy out for Nadia to want to go any where near the roof, so she was crashed out on her back on the common room couch, her guitar balanced on her stomach as she plucked out a tune, her amp turned way down so she wouldn't be disturbing anyone else.

She was singing quietly enough for it to barely count as singing, not paying much attention to the words, just trying to get the guitar right.

It'd been awhile since she'd listened to Counting Crows, and she couldn't help remembering the last time she'd performed one of their songs, almost a year ago. Two, depending on who you asked. . . .

Thus she played, singing softly, and stared up at the ceiling, reminiscing.

After Dance Club, Pippi lindy hopped up to the common room.

"Hi!"

"Hey." Walter waved at her. "No applesauce."

"I'm glad to hear that."

"Me too. I can live without that ever happening again."

"Well... You'll just have to avoid... Um... We never did figure it out huh?"

"No idea." He shook his head. "But last night was probably not the best night to go to the radio station to watch Nadia do radio."

Pippi giggled.

"Yeah huh."

"Hey, Pippi. Feeling less . . . ground down?"

"Right now." Pippi nodded. "Yeah."

"Good to hear. It's weird seeing you without wayyyyy too much energy. Worries me."

"Do you still want to do the meditation thing?"

"Yeah. Whenever you've got the chance, I guess. We need candles and stuff. At least, that's how Blair taught me."

"Should they be scented?"

". . . I don't actually know. I just used the ones I have in my room."

"If that worked for you, then those should be good for me too."

"Okay, we should probably go to 507, to make sure we don't get interrupted or anything. I don't have any classes tomorrow . . . or we can try to do it tonight."

"I only have one class in the morning." Pippi said. "But we could do it tonight if you don't think it would interfere with class tomorrow? I like Heroing, I kinda don't want to miss it."

Nadia shook her head. "Tomorrow is good. Just in case. I don't want you to miss your class, either."

"507 after 2nd Period then."

"I'll be there. With fire."
