Fifth floor common room, Wednesday evening

Nadia had gotten a package. It had been a very long time since she'd gotten a random package that wasn't something she'd ordered.

But it was from a former boss (and not one that she'd killed slept with stopped talking to on bad terms), so she figured it was okay.

Inside were a few CDs from Lucas, and a tupperware container with an extra note on it:

Hey, little former music babe,

Lucas says you used to totally dig the secret recipe of my brownies, so I thought I'd make sure you got some more for old times sake. Try not to watch any Gwar videos when you eat them.

Her eyes widened.

Eddie's special brownies.

So now she was bopping around to an odd harpsichord playing musician who sounded kind of like a cross between Betty Boop and a cat screeching but was mysteriously catchy, and eating her some good brownies.

[ooc: open. Yes, those are Eddie's special brownies. Secret ingredient: "lots of sugar". Your character may or may not recognize them for what they are, Nadia may or may not tell your character what they are, I leave that up to you]

After helping Phoebe ice her twisted ankle and making sure she really was okay enough not to have to go to the clinic, Bel was prepared for a quiet evening of hiding out in their room again.

And then he inexplicably got the munchies.

He decided to wander out to the common room to see if he could find some food.

Nadia was working on her second brownie and looked up at Bel with a big grin. "Man of the hour!"

Not knowing he had his powers back.

Or rather... somebody's powers anyway.

Anders couldn't help glaring mildly at Bel. "Thanks for at least letting me get some sleep this afternoon."

Setsuna couldn't help staring a little. "I thought you were dead," she said, and took another bite of brownie.

Blair waved at Bel, "Yo, man."

Alphonse had heard the news, but that didn't keep him from being at least a little surprised by seeing Bel. "Good to see that you're back," he said.

"You're not dead." Stark was sometimes a bit oblivious to the goings-on at the school. It really would help if he listened to the radio on a more regular basis.

After speaking with her godfather Naomi decided to hang out in one of the common rooms, "hey Nadia," she said as came in.

Billy waved to Naomi. "Hey Naomi, how goes it?" He was pleased to see that he didn't feel weird around her despite the whole alien abduction thing.

Feeling restless over not having gone to see Ami for fear of the rain, Setsuna's sharpened senses (had she really been using her powers so much that they were making her so sensitive?) noticed some thumping coming from the next floor up and went to go investigate. Nadia's bopping answered that question. Her head tilted and she drifted into the room. Not like she had much else to do.

Nadia waved. "Want a brownie?"

Dick came into the common room in different clothes than he had on this morning. "Hey again. Nice to see you dry."

"Dick! My roof-y friend! You're not squooshing. Go you."

Actually in the mood to be social for once, Alphonse made the epic journey from his room to the common room.

"And here we see the reclusive Alphonse, out of its den now for a rare foraging. . . ." Nadia muttered, giggling all the while, before offering Al a brownie.

Anders was still cranky come evening, and still had bits of latex goop from the fingerprint machine stuck in his hair, but luckily no need for any more cold showers. He'd gone up to the roof for a quick smoke (that turned into four or five) before coming back down and stopping off on the fifth floor.

"Santos, are those what I think they are?"

"Well, I'm not on the roof so they're not ritual brownies, but they are of that fame," Nadia said with great solemnity.

Blair bounced in, "Heya!" Okay, Annette wasn't sure exactly how Blair spoke, but she thought that sounded pretty good.

Anders did a double-take, and wondered if that kiss had really made Annette go insane or something.

If it did, he might have to consider the monastery, because his track record here was getting messy.

Apparently it was a good night to be social. So Stark was going to try that for the first time in a little while. There was a lot of giggling coming from the fifth floor common room, so he decided to go in there after wandering the halls for a bit.

Sometimes, being psychic was a good thing. Sometimes, it sucked. Other times? It was just plain weird. Like the weirdness that had drawn him up to the fifth floor.

Walter wandered in after work, smelling like perfume.

The pepper pot had gotten loose.

He had pepper in his hair, smelled like an avon distellery, and was more than a tad wet.

"Hey." Hey brownies.

He suddenly had a stoned girlfriend glomping him. "Hi!" *sniffsniff* "Why do you smell like a peppery girl?"
