Nadia decided being social would take her mind off her birthday thoughts.

So she was in the common room now, instead of her dorm room, staring out at the rain.

"This is really weird."

Well, if Alphonse had known John that well, maybe he would have reconsidered what he said.

However, he didn't. So he didn't think anything of it.

"Are you all right?"

Alphonse scratched at the side of his head. "Random ache?" he threw out. "Well, you're fine and nothing is wrong, at least."

Alphonse shrugged. And, while that was a strange occurrence, he felt a little thankful for the diversion.

"Um, yesterday," he answered vaguely.

Absentmindedly, Alphonse pulled his ponytail over his shoulder, giving it a thoughtful look. "Well, it wasn't such a drastic change for me..."
