Fifth Floor Common Room, Sunday Evening

After a lazy weekend, Bel had little interest in doing anything other than kicking back and relaxing. So currently he was lounging on the couch, watching "The Amazing Race." And wondering if it was against the rules to punt some of the more annoying teams off a cliff.

Mac spent most of her weekend hiding from the water. She's actually still kind of avoiding the water. Her theory is that fish being flung at the windows is less likely if you're a floor further up.

She flopped on a couch in the fifth floor common room with her book with a slightly curious look at Bel.

"Hey," Bel said casually.

Okay, he seemed to find this totally normal. So Mac decided the best way to respond to the guy whose memorial she went to the other week, was to be equally relaxed. "Hi," she returned. "What you watching?"

"The Amazing Race," Bel said. "Reality show, people racing around the world and acting like dumbasses." He shifted a little uncomfortably. He still wasn't used to all this "Hi, I'm alive" business.

Mac slouched back in the couch tucking her feet up under herself. "Sounds mockable," she commented. "I like it already."

After her initial 'omgwtf Bel's not dead' sitch, Cally found herself practically pouncing on Mac on the couch.

"You're back!" she squeaked happily, dropping her book on the couch and hugging Cally.

Cally hugged Mac tight, not wanting to let go. "Back and planning on staying that way!"

"You better be," Mac said giving her an extra squeeze. "I missed you."

Nadia was getting ready for doing the radio but . . . well, she was feeling a bit lazy. So she wandered into the common room first instead.

"Hey, Bel,"

"Hey, Nadia," Bel said. "What's up?"

Nadia flopped down into a chair. "Not a whole lot. You?"

"Been keeping out of the rain, mostly," Bel said. "Just trying to relax."

"At least the rain stopped. Can't say I really want to go swimming right now, though." She leaned her head back. "And relaxing sounds good. I got the weirdest thing the other night, probably stress related or something."

Cally peeked her head in the common room on her way to drop off her bag.

And was reduced to complete 'omgwtf', as Bel not being dead, and there was her girlfriend, and so instead she was just standing there in complete disbelief.

Bel sat up, suddenly wracked woth omg guilt. "Cally?" he said cautiously.

"No. Frakking. Way," Cally said.

"Um, I'm back," Bel said lamely. "And . . . I'm sorry."

Nadia waved cheerfully at Cally.

Cally waved back. "What the hell happened here?" she asked.

Billy wandered in. "I keep meaning to get you some snickerdoodles." he told Bel.

"So you told me." Billy said. "That's why I thought they'd make a good welcome back gift." As much as Billy was not surprised when Bel had turned out to be evil, sort of, he was likewise not too surprised to have him show back up after being dead. welcome to the live of a Marvel comic character.
