The Roof; Wednesday Night.

It really was a nice day. Somewhat cloudy, but not too bad, with the nice warming spike in the weather. The perfect sort of night for flying, maybe a little bit of forgetting to go along with it. So that's what Setsuna did, thinking that she'd like to do this more often now that spring was here.

Another warm day to be had and Tori had handwavily gotten outside as much as possible. Who knew if the weather would last?

And so, she found herself up on the roof, enjoying the pleasant night air that had followed a good day.

Setsuna landed for a bit of a rest, wings settling slightly in gratitude for the pause, when she noticed someone else there. "Oh. Hello, Tori," she smiled lightly at her.

"Hey Setsuna." Tori smiled brightly at her. "Out enjoying the weather, too?" It really had been a nice couple of days.

Setsuna nodded. "Yes. I'm very excited to have the weather get warmer again. Snow is pretty and all, but it's terribly impractable."

"As am I." Tori admitted, with a smile. "I really hope this nice weather holds. I don't get to see much snow where I live, I do enjoy it. But, I'm all about the warm, sunny weather."

"Where are you from?" Setsuna asked, taking a seat for a bit, arms behind her to support her as she leaned back an dthe wings arched up slightly to clear the space.

Nadia wandered quietly up to the roof, then stood just past the doorway for a moment, her face turned into a light breeze, her eyes closed.

"Wow. It really is nice out."

"Yeah, it is," Setsuna said softly, having just perched a bit above the doorway in time to hear Nadia's assessment. "It will be so nice having warm weather on its way again."

Nadia nodded emphatically. "Definitely. I feel like I've been hiding out all winter." She turned to smile at Setsuna. "Hey, what's up?"

Haruhi liked being up on the roof; it provided a great view, and a good place to just sit, sometimes. So there she was again, after a long while of not coming up.

Nadia waved from where she was looking out over the town.

"Blue Bay Harbor, California." Tori answered. She had noticed the wings and smiled. They looked cool. "Pretty much sunny and warm the whole year round."

Setsuna smiled back down. "Not a whole lot; just enjoying this." She stretched out her wings to both sides. "Flying's really thereputic."

Haruhi nodded her head, regarding her. "Hello," she said, then looked thoughtful. "Nadia, if I remember correctly, right?"

Tori spotted Nadia from where she was standing, and waved, a small smile having appeared. "Hey."

"That's right. I . . . I'm afraid I don't remember yours." Nadia grimaced briefly.

"Hey, little sis. How are you?"

"That sounds really nice," Setsuna nodded slightly. "I would eventually miss snow, though, I think, but that's what holidays are for, perhaps. To travel to places that have snow, but just to visit for a bit."

Nadia couldn't help a moment of jealousy as she nodded. "I bet it is. And getting to do it whenever you want. . . ." She'd flown before, hang gliders and planes, the occasional helicopter. But not on her own wings.

"No offense taken," she assured. "I'm Haruhi."

Setsuna's head tilted as she spotted Haruhi. "Wow," she said, softly smiling, "haven't seen you in a while..."

"I'm doing well, thanks." Tori smiled brightly. "How about you?"

"Never actually had that kind of freedom with them until I came here, actually..." Setsuna stood from her perch and jumped down gently, to put herself at the same level as Nadia because she was feeling a little strange being up so high.

"It is." Tori admitted. "I do miss the snow, though, yeah. But it does help to live next to a state that gets winter." She smiled. "Yeah, as much as I enjoy the snow, I'm not sure I could live through a whole season of it."
