Fifth floor common room, late morning onward

Sokka settled himself in on the couch to watch TV and fondle his chinchilla play with his rodent touch the bundle of fur in his lap cuddle Momo Jr. NOT DIRTY I SWEAR.

He had set out a 10-lb. block of slightly salty Krackel with a knife stuck into it, and assorted paper plates and napkins. Now, of course, the only barrier to his enjoyment was the suckiness of daytime TV. He flipped through the channels, looking for something with enough explosions to satisfy him.

Annette snuck up behind him, cause she's sneaky like that. "Heyyyy, Sokka! Whatchadoing? Oooh, furball!" She reached down to pet it.

Smiling, she moved around the sofa and sat down next to him. Annette continued to rub his chinchilla.

"Chocolate?" Like she just now noticed it. "That's a lot of chocolate, Sokka. I've never seen so much chocolate in a...block style setting before."

The TV captured her attention and she slouched a little, watching the action. "Men."

Oh. Annette didn't want any chocolate then. It could have belonged to that fishythingymanperson. And he could have spit on it or something.

"Let me guess, their fighting over a girl?" She said drolly, kicking her feet up on the table.

"Unless one of them killed her and buried her alive and the other one is trying to figure out where and stuff. Threatening and beating this other guy up to get the info. Unless...he's got the wrong guy. Then that's just mean."

Annette reached over and picked up Momo Jr., settling him into her lap. Please, can she? ;)

Annette frowned, "I guess you couldn't kill and then bury someone alive, could you? Unless they were twins. Hmm."

She looked at Sokka. "How good is it? That chocolate?"

[identity profile] l1ttle-billy.livejournal.com 2007-03-19 08:48 pm (UTC)(link)
"Wow that's a lot of chocolate."

[identity profile] l1ttle-billy.livejournal.com 2007-03-20 12:08 am (UTC)(link)
"Thanks man." Billy took some of the chocolate and settled down to enjoy it before class. "Have we actually met before?"

[identity profile] l1ttle-billy.livejournal.com 2007-03-20 02:13 am (UTC)(link)
"It's quite memorable." Billy nodded. "I'm Billy. Or William Kessler if you're being super formal."

[identity profile] l1ttle-billy.livejournal.com 2007-03-20 02:22 am (UTC)(link)
"Billy it is then." He shook Sokka's hand. "Nice to meet you Sokka. Where and when are you from?"

Evie came in after Fairy Tales, worrying about her grade, and squealed when she saw Sokka and his chincilla. "Momo!"

[identity profile] bookyeve.livejournal.com 2007-03-19 11:55 pm (UTC)(link)
"Stuff is good!" Evie reached out to pat Momo Jr. on the head, cooing to him. "I had a lovely time in New York City this weekend. How have you been? I heard your sister was back!"

No, she didn't sit down on the couch with a bounce. Much.

[identity profile] bookyeve.livejournal.com 2007-03-20 12:14 am (UTC)(link)
"Yay! And ooo, is this it? May I have a bite?" Evie asked, looking hopeful. "And New York City is-- huge. Gorgeous! Very, very, very busy. A hundred, maybe a thousand times the size of Fandom. I had a *wonderful* time."

[identity profile] bookyeve.livejournal.com 2007-03-20 12:34 am (UTC)(link)
Evie spread a napkin on her lap and gleefully took her square of chocolate and began nibbling. Swallowing, she said, "Of course! Oh, I wish I'd thought of that sooner! Professor Phale *said* other people could come along, really... but yes! You *must* visit it. I had breakfast at Tiffany's, and walked in Central Park, and saw the museums and the waterfront and the shops and--" she took a huge breath, "The UN and the Empire State Building! Although there were no gorillas. Sadly."
