2nd Floor Common Room - Monday Evening

Dick was sprawled out on the couch, taking up as much space as possible. The TV was on and he was watching Enchanted re-runs. Not a show he usually watched but there was nothing else on and those witches were friggen hot.

((Open, as these things usually are))

Turtle, lollipop preserved from earlier and now ready to be consumed, went into the common room ready to plop down on the couch, and found that she would have been sitting on Dick if she did. "Hey! No fair! You can't take up the whole couch like that."

Turtle smirked at him, since she very well couldn't complain since, now that it wasn't empty, he was giving up some space, and plopped down as originally intended. "How ya been, Dick? M'I interupting anything riviting on TV?"

Annette had actually been on her way to see Dick but hey, she heard the TV and poked her head in to see what was on. She didn't see Dick, sprawled on the couch as he was.

Sauntering over to the kitchen area, she grabbed a soda from the fridge and stuck an 'I owe one soda - AH' post it on the frige door.

Walking back to the TV area, she laughed at the witchy stuff, took a drink of soda and went to sit down on the couch without paying attention to where she was sitting.

Turtle's eyes shifted toward Dick, smirking as she tried to imagine what his girl form had looked like, and she found it amusing and was sad she missed it. She wondered if he played with his hair a lot. "Not much. Went to New York with class last week; that was awesome. An' my birthday's this weekend. My parents are making me come home for it. That's not as awesome."

"Ooh! Holy crap!" She jumped like crazy but wasn't really stupid, so she didn't move from his lap. Luckily her soda didn't spill. Or lucky for Dick.

"I didn't see you there! Sorry!"

Turtle snerked at Annette making the mistake she had avoided, and then thought of something clever to say about the matter, but then couldn't stop laughing in sheer immaturity with what she came up with. Each attempt to try to say the very dirty comment just left Turtle laughing more, until she was clinging to the arm of the couch, gasping for air.

"I know, right?" Turtle said after taking Dick up on the high five. "Totally sucks. Guess we'll just have to do it belatedly here, or something, maybe..."

She blushed and sort of brushed her hair back from her face to hide it. Then she moved to slide from his lap. "Well you're taking up the whole dang sofa, Dick. What did you expect?"

Annette? Saw Turtle laughing and knew, that's right, she knew she was getting laughed at.

"What?"

[identity profile] stocksgrrl.livejournal.com 2007-03-19 10:05 pm (UTC)(link)
Taking in a deep breath to calm herself, coughing a little so she could clear it up enough to say it, Turtle opened her mouth...

...and just couldn't. Another round of laughing hit her until her face was red and she waved a dismissive hand at Annette. "I..I'm sorry," she managed to get out. "It...it's nothing. Really." Followed by more laughing.

Annette twisted her lips, looked down at her soda can, put her thumb over the opening, and began to shake it. Hard. Real hard. "Nothing eh? Nothing sure is funny. Man, I wish I could laugh so hard at nothing." Shake. Shake. Shake.

"Definately gonna have to do that when I get back, then," Turtle nodded. Certainly not through the workings of a certain someone who might feel like returning the favor of a birthday party she threw for him...

Threatening with soda did little to overcome an immature mind in the wake of a Dick joke. "Shake that thing all you want, Annette," Turtle was still giggling. "In the end, it's your soda being wasted."

"Oh, okay, then." She did not need to be told twice; Annette made herself quite comfortable in his lap. She even kicked off her shoes and sort of curled her legs up. "So, checking out the witches, eh?" She was not jealous. Geeze.

"Thank God, no," Turtle said. "My grandma doesn't actually keep in touch with the family very much." Her face twisted just slightly there in a frown, but she moved on. "It's just immediate family. Have a nice meal together, do the gift thing. Nothing much, but it's kind of a tradition."

"Not if it is spewed on you, little miss Turtle." Annette grinned sweetly. "See? My aim with a soda can is so great. Perfect even. I would hate to ruin your shirt." But she would have so much fun! Weee! Soda fight!
