Marilyn Steerpike was attempting to do her his make-up in her his reflection in a soup pot. She would never be a real star if she wasn't beautiful, after all. She really probably shouldn't have eaten that cupcake at lunch. It would go straight to her his hips.

It's probably best not to ask where she got the make up. Or the white dress. Or the wig.

Seriously. Don't ask.

Annette wandered in just cause, and she stopped short at seeing Steerpike putting make-up on.

"Okayyyy. This is weird."

Marilyn Steerpike looked up and fluttered her his eyelashes at Annette. "Well, hey there, honey,"

Her eyes moved over him. She checked out the white dress, the wig, but most importantly the make-up.

"Did you just flutter your eyelashes at me?"

Marilyn Steerpike turned back to her his reflection, touching up her his lipstick. "Looks that way, honey." She picked up the kohl-black eyeliner next. "Something you needed?"

"Um, you never returned my phone call. I was just wondering how things...uh...were between us." She couldn't help herself, she stepped closer to him, watching him with the liner.

"Is there some kind of party I don't know about?"

Marylin Steerpike had the odd combination of a steady, certain hand, and an absolute lack of skill with the make-up. "Phone call, honey? Well, I am terribly busy, most of the time. No party that I know of, but I don't see a reason why we can't have one,"
