The Grounds, somewhere sorta-kinda over by room 422; Early Tuesday Morning.
A lot of thinking had been done. A lot of consideration and some more self-loathing and what have you that lead to the fact that, yeah, something had to be done here. He had to get Teddy back. Somehow.
Potentially embarrassing himself in front of the whole school seemed to be as good a solution than any, and, really, couldn't be worse than the whole cheerleading thing (which he wasn't getting to like, really, honestly...shut up).
After a few very carefully aimed and tossed rocks up at the window to room 422 (hey, Chad had a pretty good arm), he picked up the boombox and pushed play, holding it up as he filled the morning air with the sounds of Peter Gabriel's voice. In Your Eyes.
Hey, it worked for that one guy in that one movie, right? Chad actually couldn't remember how it went, but he'd been up all night after a long day of emo and work, and this was what he had to offer as a result.
...He really hoped he had the right window...
[[ he's clearly trying to get the attention of a certain someone, but feel free to gawk ]]

Opening the window with the intention of yelling at whoever was out there, Teddy froze when he saw Chad and the boombox. And then he ducked, hiding just under the window, back to the wall.
It was romantic in a dorky kind of way. A really really dorky kind of way. He should go down and talk to him.
Once his face stopped being so red.

But he stood firm, though. He was Chad; that's what he did.
Besides, if this didn't get Teddy out, he'd cued up their 'song' after this one, and, well...That would definately catch his attention.

Still clad in his pajamas, Teddy slipped on a pair of shoes and left the room to stop Chad from waking up the whole dorm. God he hoped he'd get down there before Chad started the song again.

Of course, Teddy arrived just in time to have it cut off right when it started to get good. "I wanna fu-" Click. Lowered the boombox. "Hey, Ted."
no subject
"Chad."
no subject
Oh, right. Talking part. The part he wasn't so good at. Standing there holding a boombox was pretty easy. This was the difficult stuff.
"Um, so...I wanted to put myself out here and apologize for being the world's biggest idiot and ask that you take me back anyway because I really do love you and realize that what I did was a really, really big mistake..."
There was a pause. "Totally cool if you don't want to, though. I'd get it."
Another. "But I'll probably keep doing this until you do."

Teddy looked back up at the dorms, sighing. Was that Pippi with a video camera? Oh god.
"I know you love me, and I love you too," He told Chad. "That's why I think we should break up."
no subject
"That doesn't even make any sense, Teddy..." he said, really hoping that there wasn't a sensible explanation that he was missing coming his way.
no subject
"You wanted a second chance and you're getting one. We're doing this right. No Nadia or tattoo baggage to deal with. Just you and me starting this relationship over."
no subject
"Uh, wait. What?" He scratched the back of his head a little.

"Go on a few dates, hang out, you know, like normal couples do," Teddy said patiently.
no subject
"Uh, okay..." he said, kind of nervously because he still felt he was missing something about this whole thing and really didn't want to screw things up.
no subject
"Not starting with sex like we did last time," He continued.
no subject
...okay, he could kind of see where Teddy was coming from a little better now.
He...could do this. Never really had before, not really, but he could...He hoped...
Chad nodded. "So, uh, when do we start?" Sooner they started, the sooner they could, theoretically, get back to where they were before this whole mess.

no subject
Nope. Still weird and awkward. But he did it anyway.
"So, uhhh, Teddy. You wanna go on a date with me?"
no subject
Teddy smiled and nodded, standing on his toes to give Chad a very quick, chaste kiss. "Love to."
no subject
"Cool. Free tonight?" He tried to think of what might maybe be a good false-first date thing to do.
no subject
Teddy nodded. "Stop by my room after work."

So when she say Chat start to throw pebbles with a boombox at his side, she grabbed her camcorder and opened her window.

"Man. Talk about deja vu."
