Wednesday Afternoon - 5th Floor Common Room

Pippi had no classes today.

She did have cheerleading and a club later, but no classes.

Time to bake.

A variety of carb-laden treats are piled on the table while Pippi seems to be mixing up some sort of cake batter while singing a song...

River sneaked up on Pippi and leaned over her shoulder to see what she was doing.

A gob of cake batter comes flying at River's face.

Purely by accadent of course.

River, having good reflexes, ducked, but got some cake batter stuck in her hair.

Pippi turned at the sudden movement.

No really.

"Oh hi!"

River grinned. "Hi!"

And threw pulled some cake batter from her hair and threw it back at Pippi.

The batter hit her between the eyes and she rubbed it off with her sleeve.

"Would you like some cookies? Or a roll perhaps? I haven't finished any of the cakes."

River nodded happily. "Cookies would be nice. I think there are some of mine left too," she said. "Baking day?"

"Yup! No classes so." She shrugged. "Baking."

River nodded happily. She picked a bowl and began mxing the ingredients. "Should the recipe be followed or is creativity appreciated? she asked.

"I'm generally a fan of creativity." Pippi nodded.

River grinned and added some cardamom to the frosting.

"Baked goods mostly." she said nodding her head to beckon him closer. "I could make something more substantial though, if you're hungry."

"I was gonna make myself some eggs. But hey, if you're offering."

"Oh I can put you to work, have no fear... How about something like an eggy-breakfasty-sandwitchy thing?"

"Would meat be involved?"

"I thought egg was meat technically... but I think we got some bacon in the fridge..." she mused.

"Isn't egg a meat?"

"Almost. But bacon definitely is a meat."

"Well, both are in the ice box." Pippi said rummaging around in the cupboard that had the pans in it. "Whatever they be."

Pip opened up the ice box and pulled out a package of bacon. "I'll start frying these up."
