Second Floor Common Room, Friday Night

Cassie was still emo from Music is Love, and, well, her general predisposition and stupid dead daddy issues.

So she was in the common room, trying to write emo poetry in her bright pink journal while that one Disney movie about the orphaned deer played on the TV.

Oh yeah. She was well adjusted. Honest.

Tori wandered one floor down, wondering what people were up. She happened into the common room and spotted Cassie. "Hey." She hadn't seen her in a while.

"Hey," Cassie said, looking up from her emotastic poem about an ant being squashed by a playing card (the jack of hearts, to be exact). "How are you?"

"I'm doing okay, how about you?" Tori smiled, noting the movie playing.

Cassie shrugged. "Been up and down a lot, lately."

"Anything I can do to help?" Tori offered.

Cassie shook her head. "It's just been one of those months, you know?"

Summer decided that Pancakes needed more socializing, so she picked a random common room to bring him too.

"Hey," she greeted, waving.

Tori nodded. "Yeah, I can definitely understand that."

Cassie waved back. "You brought the bunny," she said.

"I did," Summer said with a nod. "Want to hug him?"

"How're you?" Cassie asked.

Usually Stark ventured out in search of food in the common rooms, since there almost always was food. Tonight there wasn't food, but there were hopefully people. People he might be persuaded to share the bag of chocolates he was carrying with.

"Hello," he said, finding a seat and dropping the chocolate on the table.

Cassie actually smiled. "Only at normal size," she said.

"Hey Summer!" Tori smiled and waved at her. "Oh, who's this?" She inquired, noticing the bunny.

Cassie instantly moved to sit nearer to Stark.

"Hey," she said.

Tori smiled slightly, shrugging. "I can't really complain, honestly. The weather has been really nice, so I'm enjoying it."

Hey, Tori," Summer replied, smiling. "This is Pancakes. I'm socializing him tonight."

"He likes snuggles, no matter what size people are," Summer said.

"Hi Pancakes!" Tori grinned. "He's adorable!" She might have squeed a little.

"Who doesn't?" Cassie asked.

Cassie nodded. "Yeah, it's been getting nicer, which is always good."

"Definitely." Tori smiled. "How have classes been going for you?"

"Classes go okay," Cassie said. "I mean, okay enough that I'm not in danger of failing, at least."

Stark looked over and grinned. "Hello," he said again, then waved a hand at the bag of candy. "Chocolate?"

"Can't think of anyone who doesn't," Summer said, absently petting Pancakes. "So, how are you?"
