The Gym, Saturday morning

Ami was jogging indoors around the track. She felt a little cooped up and decided that exercise would do her good. Thus, running.

"Sure," Isobel said, mentally rolling her eyes. She sat near Buffy and began to stretch herself out.

"Are you still working for the book shop with the weird name?" Buffy asked, lowering her leg to begin another part of her work out.

Right. Work. She'd almost forgotten. "Yes, I do." She frowned at Buffy. "You know, if you did that a little differently you'd get a much better stretch and work the muscles much more efficiently. Want me to show you?"

"Really?" Buffy paused her movements. "That'd be cool, thanks! See? That's why it's better to be more than one." She gave Lana a bright smile.

"Do you mind if I move your body into the right position?" Isobel asked. "It's easier that way to make sure you're right where you're supposed to be."

Buffy nodded. She completely understood that. "Just pretend I'm a Barbie doll. A taller, anatomically correct Barbie doll."

Isobel blinked at that, taking a moment to access the memories that would tell her exactly what a Barbie doll was. Then she smiled. "And far more flexible," she replied.

She carefully positioned Buffy. "Like this," she said, showing her how to move. It was a more efficient position, but it also put Isobel in the right place to carefully tug out a strand of Buffy's hair.

Buffy focused, making sure she remembered what Lana was showing her. "Oh, I see what you mean now. You're right, this is better." If Lana touched her hair, Buffy didn't notice, too busy trying to get her body to remember a slightly different way of moving.

Isobel glanced down at the hair in her hands. Virgin. Perfect.

She smiled brightly at Buffy. "Well, I'm glad I could help. I'm afraid I have to run though. I'll see you later?"
