Fourth floor common room, Sunday morning

Trying to fully get back into the swing of things and stop hanging out in his room all the time, Dean was in the common room kitchen cooking up breakfast. He figured even on April Fool's Day free food would draw people out.

Not that he was pranking anyone just yet -- although the thought had crossed his mind. He'd planned his observance of the day for later. It was more sporting that way.

Marco was mostly asleep when he stumbled into the common room. "Mornin'." He half muttered and headed for the refrigerator. With his eyes closed.

"Morning," Dean replied. "Rough night?"

Marco opened the refrigerator and started looking for the milk. Still with closed eyes. "Not a mornin person." He grumbled.

Still naked, Alec walked through the common room, ostensibly on his way back to Dean's room and, presumably, clothing.

"Morn-" Dean began but broke off when he saw what Alec was not wearing. "Dude, did you notice you're kinda pantsless?"

"Not my favourite time of day either," Dean said. "Food helps."

Marco took out a jug of apple juice and started searching for cereal and a bowl. Eyes still mostly closed. "Didn't used to believe in sunrises. Woke up, sun was there."

"Morning!" Alec walked over to see what Dean was cooking, grinning like a dork. "Yeah - Seely, Rikku, Zero, Hamlet and I had a mutiny."

"Against pants?"

Drawn by the smell of food, Isabel wandered down the hall.

"It goes down in the evening," Dean pointed out. "Sorta has to come back up. You want some breakfast?"

"Against clothes," Alec corrected. "Though it was just me and Seely who got completely naked. Are you making food?"

"Morning," Dean greeted her, looking up for his cooking with a grin.

"Are you sharing or is this just an elaborate April Fool's plot to torment us all?" Isabel asked warily. "In which case? I will have to hurt you."

"Hey Isabel," Alec said brightly. Of course, he'd already been up for a while.

"Yeah," Dean replied distractedly. "Not that I don't admire the view, but what did clothes ever do to you?""

"It's for sharing," Dean said. "I wouldn't be so cruel as to prank with food. Well, not unless someone really deserved it."

"I dunno. Just seemed like a day for mutiny," Alec said, shrugging. "Seely was the one who took off his pants first, though."

Marco nodded and poured the apple juice over his cereal. "Trying to. I just never wanted to actually see it come up."

"I've done nothing to deserve pranking with my food," she promised. "And I think I'll be cooking one night this week so I'll even return the favor."

And wow, the nightmares have been replaced by very real, very pleasant dreams apparently. "Morning Alec," Isabel smiled.

"Y'know that doesn't surprise me at all. He's kinda a slut." There wasn't any accusation or censure in Dean's voice, just stating a fact. "So are you going to go around naked the rest of the day?"

"It's nice sometimes," Dean admitted. "Peaceful. But yeah, way early."

Dean grinned. "Definitely will take advantage of that." He dished her up a plate and reached into the cupboard for the tobasco sauce which he handed to Isabel with the food. "So what have you been up to lately?"

Marco stuck a spoon of his breakfast into his moouth and made a face. "Peacefully deceptive."
