Fourth floor common room, Sunday morning

Trying to fully get back into the swing of things and stop hanging out in his room all the time, Dean was in the common room kitchen cooking up breakfast. He figured even on April Fool's Day free food would draw people out.

Not that he was pranking anyone just yet -- although the thought had crossed his mind. He'd planned his observance of the day for later. It was more sporting that way.

Marco nodded and poured the apple juice over his cereal. "Trying to. I just never wanted to actually see it come up."

"It's nice sometimes," Dean admitted. "Peaceful. But yeah, way early."

Marco stuck a spoon of his breakfast into his moouth and made a face. "Peacefully deceptive."

"Sometimes," Dean admitted, thinking back to Manticore attacking him at dawn.

"Usually. Because what sane, not evil, person will be up at the crack of dawn? Who's not playing some stupid team sport that is."

"Someone who hasn't been to bed yet," Dean said with a sudden grin. "Or at least to sleep."

Marco nodded. "That too. Which is also evil since sleep is lovely."

"Oh, I don't know, there's some things that are more fun than sleep."

"When comparing sleep and being awake at the crack of dawn, in a barn, cold, wet, and about to go and risk your neck again, sleep wins."
