Very careful to do so sexily, Chad let out a sigh, hands limply hanging between his knees as he looked out over the view of the island, lifting his chin a little so the slight breeze could catch the soft trendrils of his hair. He was so confused; he couldn't understand it. How could Teddy do this? How could Teddy just...refuse him...HIM!...like that, like he was nothing, like he wasn't the owner of such a strong jaw and perfect hips, like he didn't have those amazing abs, these phenominal lips? Clearly, he shouldn't worry about it too much. The problem was quite obviously Teddy's.

Oh, and he wasn't wearing any clothes. Who was he to deprive his fellow classmates of the beautiful, classic artwork that was the body of Yasutora Sado? If Teddy was going to be insane and not want to appriciate it, maybe he'd find someone who would.

Chad turned a dubious look at Nadia. Yeah, he really believed that coming from her. Who was it trying to seduce him not too long ago? Yeah, that's right, one Miss Nadia Santos. She was probably just saying that to convince herself that he wasn't so she didn't find herself incapable of keeping her hands off of him again. Which only made him grin.

"You keep tellin' yourself that, Nadia."

Nadia made a mental note to find him when this spell or whatever wore off, and give him hell about it.

"You're too tall," she said. She had no idea what she was trying to accomplish, especially since she wasn't doing her voice a damned bit of good. But she was trying it, anyway. "It's absurd. There's a reason I picked someone else. Why I stopped."

"Uh-huh. Morality's a bitch like that, isn't it?"

She shook her head. "Not morality. Walter's better."

Chad looked back at Nadia, with a look that showed he didn't believe her for a second, and that she could keep telling herself that, but that wouldn't make it true. In fact, if she was going to insist on fooling herself like that, he'd go over there and prove her wrong once and for all.

Oh, Nadia was going to insist, alright. "Kissed you, haven't I? But 'm still with someone else. Had you all hot and ready . . . but I chose someone else."

She knew she might be making a mistake, but she was kind of hoping that if she could cut down that ego of his, she could get through to him.

"Scared," Chad challenged. "Kissing is nothing. I'll believe all this 'chose someone else' stuff when you actually do something that calls for a real comparrison."

Nadia gave Chad a very, very long, very, very good look, up, down, and up again, making sure she took it all in. Then she looked him in the eye (as best she could with that hair of his) and completely seriously and almost completely honestly, shrugged.

"Nope, sorry. Not interested."

Chad's eyes narrowed; if anything, she sure had this denial thing by the horns, didn't she? Still, he couldn't help the tightness twisting in his chest about her supposed apathy. After all, how could she not be interested, really? Totally just telling herself that. That had to be it, it had to...

"Mutual," he finally grunted, turning away.
