The Gym, Early Saturday Morning

Tori found that she couldn't really sleep, so she was now in the gym doing a number on the punching bag.

She was worried about Lana and decided to give her a call later, check up on her. Sometimes Fandom was just plain mean.

Luke wandered into the gym and gave Tori a bright smile. "Good morning!"

"Good morning to you too." Tori smiled warmly at him, pausing to grab her water bottle. "How's it going?"

"Good," Luke said, grinning. "I've got a non-date to prom now and my father's going to teach me how to be a better Jedi."

Ami came in to do her warm-up exercises that Setsuna taught her. Seeing Tori she waved. "Hey."

"That's great!" Tori smiled brightly. She had forgotten prom was coming up. "Oh, I had been meaning to tell you that I met your father at the Perk a few days ago."

"Hi Ami." Tori smiled and waved back.

Luke looked wary. "You did? What did he say?"

"He was very nice and seems very proud of you." Tori explained, with a smile. "And he said to tell you that he's better at flying than you and that you should show me some time." She chuckled a bit. "All in all, it was a nice first meeting."

Luke pouted. "He's in no way better at flying than I am," he declared. He grinned. "I can totally show you some time, if you're interested."

"I'm just delivering the message. I have no opinion on the matter right now." Tori smirked, playing her innocent card. "Oh, I'm definitely interested."

"Maybe on Friday?" Luke asked, "after classes?" He grinned. "We're not bringing my father, so you'll just have to take my word for how much better I am."

"Okay, sure." Tori smiled, nodding in agreement. She had time after classes and before Self-Defense. "Oh, well, I guess I have no choice but to believe you." Tori teased.

Luke grinned back. "I've been told I look very trustworthy. Maybe that'll make you feel better?"

"I am alright. Excited about the sleepover."

"You do." Tori admitted, with a smile. "It does make me feel better." She grinned.

"As am I." Tori grinned brightly. "I cannot wait. It's going to be a blast!"

Luke bit his lip and blushed. "How have you been?" he asked, wrapping his hands in tape before reaching for a pair of gloves.

Tori shrugged. "I've been all right." She smiled. "Can't really complain, though I'm a bit worried about Lana." Tori wondered if Luke had heard last night's broadcast. "How about you?"

"Lana?" Luke frowned. "My father left me a message about her. She was messing with people's minds or something?"

"She was possessed." Tori frowned and nodded. "Whoever had control of her did mess with people, yes." She had been one of them and felt really bad for Lana. "I only hope she's okay, now. I can't imagine how she must feel, learning what had happened."

"She's in good company at this school," Luke said quietly. "Possession seems to go around. She doesn't remember what she did?"

"That it does." Tori agreed and shook her head. "I'm not sure, but I have a feeling she remembers something. And I'm sure that some of the people that were affected might not let her off so easy." Which was a scary thought, but depending on what had happened... well, Tori had a feeling she'd gotten off easy.

"Real feelings probably got hurt, whether it was her in control of her body or not," Luke said. "It'll be hard to have people angry at her for something she doesn't remember." He chewed at his lip. "Though I know that it's just as hard to see what's happening and not be able to control yourself. My best friend was put in the clinic that way."
