5th floor Common room, Sunday afternoon

Tributary was far too loud in River's head, but got even louder when she was upset. Consequently, keeping her happy was a priority when escape wasn't possible. And Tributary wanted popcorn and cookies.

In the common room River made a large pan of popcorn without the lid on, then started making tuna and marmalade cookies.

"Yes." Tributary nodded firmly. "Gross. Yuck. Remember when we made tuna and syrup cookies for Captain Uncle Mal? He made that weird face and then spent the rest of the night in the bathroom?"
