Phoebe was relaxing in the fifth floor common room. Amazingly, she was kidlet free for the moment. Pandora had gone with Anders and Artemis, and Samantha had gone off with Cole and his flock. So, she was alone.

Alone.

Time to herself.

And missing her girls.

Yeah, she was attached.

"Huh," Bel said. "I thought she liked girls, not older men."

"She likes other mommy," Perfectly said. "Grams says dad took advantage of her."

"Grams doesn't like men," Bel pointed out. "She thinks they're evil and out to steal all her granddaughters."

"Well my dad ran away, so he must not be real nice," Perfectly pointed out.

"Point," Bel said. "I'd never run out on my kids." Tempting as it had seemed at various points throughout the day.

"You'd just shimmer away," Perfectly teased, winking at him.

"I'm going to take fatherhood seriously," Bel said firmly.

"Good," Perfectly said. "I want my nieces and nephews treated special."

"They will be, trust me," Bel said, reaching out to ruffle Benjamin's hair. The boy made a face at him.
