Fifth Floor Common Room, Monday Night

Phoebe was relaxing in the fifth floor common room. Amazingly, she was kidlet free for the moment. Pandora had gone with Anders and Artemis, and Samantha had gone off with Cole and his flock. So, she was alone.

Alone.

Time to herself.

And missing her girls.

Yeah, she was attached.

Phoebe kissed the top of Pandora's head as she felt her heart melt.

"I love you, too, Pandora."

"You're the best mommy ever," Pandora continued, hugging Phoebe tighter. "And Daddy's the best daddy ever an' I love him too."

"We're lucky to have such a sweet and loving little girl like you."

Pandora pulled back and looked at her. "That sounds like what Daddy says to you all the time."

Phoebe cocked her head at Pandora. "He does?"

"Uh huh." Pandora nodded and looked at her daddy. "He's always saying how lucky he is to have you."

She tugged at Phoebe's arm a little. "Wanna snuggle with you and Daddy."

Phoebe smiled at Pandora and then raised an eyebrow at Anders. "Really, now?"

She hugged Pandora. "Daddy looks tired."

"'cause he was running around after us all day." Pandora nodded firmly, reaching an arm out toward Anders and tugging him closer -- or trying, anyway "That's why snuggles are good."

Phoebe could not seem to resist either of her girls when they seemed determined on something.

"Snuggles are indeed usually very good for relaxuing when tired."

"See? That's why Daddy should snuggle with us." Pandora nodded and tugged at Anders again.

Phoebe hid a grin and looked at Anders to see how he was going to react to their demanding six year old.

Anders looked helplessly at Phoebe, then down at Pandora tugging on his shirt.

And he completely and totally caved at the expression on her face.

"All right, sweetie," he said, a little surprised at how natural that sounded coming out of his mouth. "Daddy'll snuggle for a little while."

Phoebe smiled as Pandora managed to pull Anders closer.

"Determined, isn't she?"

Anders blushed and ended up leaning against Phoebe so Pandora could hang on to both of them at the same time.

"Stubborn just like both of us, I guess, huh?"

Phoebe nodded, still holding onto Pandora. "Apparently," she grinned. "From what I can see, Artemis got the stubborness of both you and Cole."

Anders groaned. "Oh, definitely. Between just the two of them, no wonder I'm exhausted."

Phoebe grinned. "I think they are both adorable."

Of course, it was obvious she was partial to Pandora.

Of course.

"Didn't think I'd have a hand in such cute kids," Anders mumbled absently, stroking Pandora's hair and watching Artemis run around with the others.

"You short-change yourself way too often."

Anders looked at her in surprise. "You think so?"

Phoebe nodded. "I know so... and you let others do it to you, too."

She blushed. "Sorry. None of my business really." She was paying very close attention to Pandora's hair.

So was Anders, who was blushing too. "I don't mind if you want to make it your business," he said awkwardly.

Phoebe sighed. "It's just... Cole cares a great deal about you, Anders... and so do I. I just don't like it when I see someone I care about short-changing himself as often as I see you do... or when you let others do it, you know?"

Anders bit his lip. "I guess . . . didn't realize it bothered you that much."

"It's okay, Mommy," Pandora said reassuringly, "you train him out of it eventually."

Phoebe shrugged. "I didn't feel I had any right to be upset about it." She explained. "So, I never said anything. I don't know why I did just now, honestly."

She looked at Pandora and just stared. "I do what?"
