Steerpike was making a rare appearance in the common room, today. If asked, he would say that it was because there was more room to spread out his notes on the floor as he studied for finals.

The glossy magazine he was looking at currently was totally part of him studying, yes. And my, but that one singer looked a bit familiar, didn't she. . . ?

Phoebe was wandering, trying to get the fear from her premonition to go away when she came into the Common Room.

"Hello."

Steerpike looked up and nodded to Phoebe. "Hello."

Phoebe saw the papers. "Oh, I'm sorry, I don't want to intrude on your studying." She gave him a warm and friendly smile. Ah, sweet and open Phoebe.

Steerpike shook his head, gathering his papers and setting them to one side. "Not at all. Perhaps I could use a short break."
