Third Floor Common Room, Monday Evening

After Hamlet's party, Rikku wandered into the third floor Common Room, fiddling idly with the TV thing and wondering if Hades had been making up those Jeopardy clouds after all.

She quickly got frustrated with the remote, which wasn't working at all, for no discernible reason. "What is wrong with you, anyway?!" she asked it angrily. "And why is nothing ever on? How can you have that many channels and all of them be boring? And where are those stupid Jeopardy clouds?! Was he just teasing?! Why don't I get to play with that fun question thing? Heyyyy ... did it just start??"

Katara giggled. "Should you have? Should you also know better than to get hurt after you leave here?"

"Shouldn't everyone know better than that?" Jack smiled and held out his hands. "Wouldn't the better question be will I know better?"

"Do you really have to ask me that?" he asked, pointing to the spot where the harpoon wound had been. "Would someone silly enough to get harpooned be the sort of person who'd know better?"

Jack's laugh was probably answer enough to that question. "How about I pack up the cutest Water Bender in school and take her with me when I leave?"

"Would you like me too?" He grinned. "How do you think 'Sorry, I have to take Katara with me to protect me from my own boy-induced foolishness' would go over?"
