Ami was getting things ready to bake again. There were already cookies in the oven and she was contemplating what type of chocolate cake to bake.

Ami had the other one, and totally licked chocolate cake batter off of it. Raw eggs be damned.

Billy licked as well, after taking a moment to watch her do a bit of licking. What? He's a teenager.

What teenagers like watching their girlfriends lick hard things? "This is probably horrid for me, but it is yummy." Ami grinned.

"I'm sure many things that taste good are unhealthy." he grinned. "In enough quantities anyway."

"Carrots? Bananas? Cucumbers? They all taste good but are not bad..." Ami grinned.

"Well I'm sure if you over indulge in any of those it would be bad. I think if you eat too many carrots your skin turns orange. And I hear that too much potassium is bad for your heart. I don't know about cucumbers."

"They turn you green maybe?" Ami poured the batter into the pan and put it into the oven. "Icing time."

"Yay that's the best part." he smirked.

"Indeed. Here, measure powdered sugar?" Ami started separating eggs into whites and yolkes.

"I can do that." he agreed.

Sugar met egg whites and both met the mixer. "I have to say, i think this is the part that provides the stress relief..." Ami said, as she produced icing.

Billy watched for a moment. "I think I can see why." he said. "Does it help that they're called beaters?"

"Possibly. You want to try?"

"Sure." he said, stepping forward. "How beaten do you want it?"

"Stiff peaks. Um. Some."

"Okay. Huh?"

"Um... you whip them until when you turn the beaters upside down, it stays and doesn't droop."

"Oh okay I can do that." he nodded, and began mixing. He held the bowl with one hand to make sure disaster did not strike.

Good thing, as disasters strike the unprepared. Instead what he had was a girlfriend who buried her nose in his back and giggled.

That startled him a bit. "Ack, what's so funny?"

"Nothing. Just being goofy."

"Oh, okay, then go ahead and be goofy. Just be aware that I have a bowl of icing here and an electric beater, thing."

"Are you goign to use the icing as a weapon?" AMi grinned.

"Well no I was merely warning against possible messes. But now that you mention it, it could be used in that fashion yes."

Ami reached over and sticking her (clean!) finger into the icing scooped some up and deposited it on the tip of billy's nose. "Yes, it can"
