Fourth Floor Common Room, Saturday evening, shortly before bedtime

Somebody put a whole bunch of candy on a table in the common room.

That same somebody put up signs saying "FREE CANDY! FOURTH FLOOR COMMON ROOM!"

And then he went back to his room on the second floor, far away from any kids that would be unable to get to sleep thanks to him and his sugar.

Sokka peered into the common room.

He grabbed a big handful and settled down on the couch with it to watch TV

Annette ran in and started shoving candy in her pockets.

Then she spotted him. "Oh. It's you."

Sokka ignored monkey bars girl. Very pointedly. He turned up the volume on the TV and stuck his tongue out at her.

Peter climbed up to the fourth floor on the walls, then over to the common room on the ceiling. And then he dropped into the pile of candy. "Yay candy!"

Annette's jaw dropped but then she snapped it shut cause she remembered what the Tick said about Sokka. She pointed her finger at him, "You are a very bad boy!"

Like a weetiny moth to a flame, Layla was drawn to the candy. "Eeeee candy!" she said, scooping a few pieces up.

"I want candy," Lucas said. "Is it safe candy?"

Turtle, chugging a bottle of root beer, came into the common room with the sign about the candy and smirked as she realized that all those spoils looked awfully familiar. Oh, well. She grabbed a handful of Pixi Sticks and plopped on the couch, and then promptly started dumping them into her drink.

"You shouldn't do that." Even at a young age, Lucas was a know-it-all.

Annette stared. "What are you doing?"

"Why not?" Turtle frowned at Lucas. "The sugar makes it better!"

Layla held a piece up to her nose and sniffed it. "It smells safe!"

"Making it better." Annette definitely got a look that told her that the improvements would make the root beer much better than for the likes of someone like her.

Okay, so not ignoring her very WELL. Still, TV!

"Can I try it?" She chose to ignore the look. She didn't want to kick Turtle. Not tonight.

"YAAAAAY CANDY!!!!" Sokka agreed. He ate three Pixie Stix at once, to prove his point.

Annette walked up to the TV and stood in front of it.

"Because mixing pixy stix and soda makes your stomach explode. There are experiments that prove it."

"That's a lot of Pixy Stixes," Peter said. He shoved a Pixy Stix tube up his nose. It was not, fortunately, open.

Sokka ran and grabbed a Coke from the fridge and some more Pixie Stix so he could do the same thing.

"No," Turtle said simply as she took a nice big swig. And did that whole satisfied, lip-smacking "Ahhhhh!" thing when she finished.

Sokka smiled and shoved one of his own tubes up his nose. It was, unfortunately, open.

He went into a violent sneezing, coughing, and wailing fit, getting powdered sugar everywhere. "IT BURNS!!!"

Sokka threw a candy bar at her head.
