2nd floor common room, Saturday night

Miley had a busy day of eating, swimming, building sandcastles and hunting for lobsters. Now she dragged her pillow and blanket into the common room and sat on a couch. Looking around for a moment, she announced to the room. "I need a bedtime story!"

She curled up and waited for someone to comply.

"With dragons!" Charlie insisted, running around.

"Only if the dragons are nice." Miley called out.

Nadia had done lots and lots of spying today. But they weren't done yet! So she came into the common room very sneakily.

Except for the continued giggling.

"No! Mean dragons with big teeth that'll EAT YOU!"

"Come out, come out where ever you are!" Miley called, peeking over the edge of the couch to see where the giggling was coming from.

"Eek!" Miley hid behind her pillow. "Too scary!"

"I've been maded again!" Nadia cried. "Are you a vampire?"

"Ewww, no!" Miley shook her head. "I'm a girl!"

"Are you a vampire?"

"Noooo, I'm a spy."

"Are those like pooperazzis?" Miley mimed clicking pictures. "Cuz I don't like those."

"I dunno. What's a pooperazzis? They sound gross."

"Fine," he huffed. "What about space ninjas?"

"They take pictures and they yell a lot and sometimes they hid in bushes and..." Miley scrunched down and then popped up in the air. "BOO! They jump up and scare you and ask questions about boys and stuff."

Miley peeked out and looked at Charlie. "Are they nice space ninjas? With pretty costumes?"

"Ninjas wear black so they can hide in space!"

"Ewwwwwwwwwwww. Spies don't do that, we hide an' take pictures, but only of bad guys."

"Good." Miley nodded. "I like spies so you can stay."

"Space has stars!" Miley countered. "They should have sparkly costumes!"

Cassie had spent a lot of the day staring up at the doorknob to her room, wondering how she could open it.

Then, she got really sad when she remembered she can grow bigger to reach things.

So now, she was in the common room. Moping.

Tori had changed into her pajamas and had a blanket with her as she made her way down a floor.

She stifled a yawn as she entered the common room.
