Outside the dorms [Monday, Afternoon]

No class, no work, and no real excuse to stay cooped up in her room. It was far too nice out for Mac to miss the opportunity to be out in the sun with a book, a blanket and her ipod.

She might also be avoiding the dorms themselves due to a bout of post-weetininess embarassment. She did tell rather a lot of people that blue immunised against cooties, after all.

"I washed my face," Cally said, sitting down next to Mac.

"I washed my arm," Mac returned, showing Cally her arm with an apologetic smile. "Bethany is no more."

"We shall remember her in our hearts forever," Cally said, grinning.

"I think this whole weekend comes under the category of 'memorable'," Mac pointed out, tucking her ipod headphones between the pages of her book to keep her place.

"Yeah," Cally said. "I'm actually glad I got to change ages, this time."

"You were very adorable." Mac smiled leaning back on her hands. "First time age regression for you, then?"

"Yeah, last time I stayed big for some reason," Cally said.

"Huh. Weird the way that happens," Mac commented. "Why couldn't I have stayed big this time?"

"Uh oh," Cally said. "What did you do that I missed?"

"Oh, nothing too bad," Mac said quickly. "Other than telling Chad he had cooties and getting blue ice everywhere."

"Chad does have cooties," Cally said with a giggle.

Mac chuckled. "See, I needed your backup," she said. "Teddy seemed to take exception to that comment."

"Because he'd totally be sharing them," Cally said.

"Well, it's all okay," Mac said seriously. "Because I gave him blue icey as a de-cootifying measure."

"Mmmm, blue icey," Cally said. "Wouldn't mind one of those right now."

"I think I've had my fill of the blue ice for the while," Mac admitted. "But, we can go find you one, if you want?"

"Or ice cream," Cally said. "But not just yet. It's nice and comfy here."

"Mm, it is." Mac nodded in agreement as she looked around. "I figured this was a better idea than hiding away indoors today."

"Too nice to hide out inside," Cally agreed.

Mac leaned back further. "I'm so glad this pretty weather appeared right after finals. It's like it knew, or something."

"It's like, 'you survived, have a dose of awesome weather'," Cally said. "Totally awesome."

"It should do that more often. We survive a lot of weird things, and deserve it."

"Yeah," Cally said. "We can only hope this isn't some calm-before-the-storm sitch."

"After the last few weeks, I'm going to go with it being the calm after," Mac said. "Optimism goes a long way."

"I like your optimism," Cally said, putting an arm around Mac's shoulders.
