Salamander Cabin Lounge-thing, Saturday Morning

Kabuto had handwavily moved in the day previously, but had had the curtain shut. He'd claimed B-something-or-other-that-doesn't-conflict, bringing mostly books with him from his dorm room. That, and his laptop.

He had the laptop with him in the living room area, typing away furiously with the tv on in the background. Occasionally he'd glance up and wonder why it was on Food Network, but it wasn't worth trying to find the remote and flip stations. Besides, it was vaguely entertaining in a way.

Living with seven other people in one cabin was going to be Interesting, to say the least. Might as well get on with meeting them all, so he knew what he was dealing with.

Kabuto glanced up, raising an eyebrow at the strange girl. "The same could be said about you, you know." He smiled, sounding cheerful enough. Nevermind that "cheerful" was his default setting, even though something else was usually lurking under the surface.

"True, true." Eve laughed. "Name's Eve. Eve Levine."

"Kabuto. Yakushi Kabuto." The ninja paused, rolling his eyes slightly behind his glasses, then added, "Though that confuses most people here. Where I'm from, when giving our names we put our surnames first."

"So, what brings you to Fandom, Eve?"

"Disciplinary action." Now it was Eve's turn to roll her eyes. "My guardians thought I needed to shape up, and apparently they thought this was the place to do it. Me, I think it's just a place to get into even more trouble."

"I see. Are you a troublemaker, then?" Kabuto turned his attention back to the computer, typing quickly.
