[Pixie Cabin, Campfire, Saturday, Evening]

After an extremely busy past week or so, D was ready for a little relaxing before the summer workshops began.

As such, she had lit the campfire outside of the juggernaut known as Pixie, turned on the radio, set out the fixings for s'mores, and had poured herself a drink.

It was a beautiful night for roasting marshmallows.

Aeryn just doesn't feel like being inside, so she heads outside to the campfire. "Private party?" she asks.

Tori had enjoyed the picnic, getting the chance to meet new students and all that. But she felt that it was time to relax.

Happening towards the cabin, she noted the campfire and grinned. "Hey D!" Tori waved as she took a seat around the campfire. "How's it going?"

"Nope." D held out a marshmallow on a stick to Aeryn. "Anyone can join."

"Hiya, Tori!" D smiled. "It's going, both too fast and not fast enough. You?"

"The time of year for these things again, huh?" Aeryn says, studying the marshmallow as she took a seat.

"Yeah, I know the feeling." Tori grinned. "It's been a great day, getting to meet the new students."

Aeryn gave Tori a little nod of hello, not sure she'd actually managed to meet her yet.

"Yeah, it seems so," D nodded. "I'd suggest trying them again in winter, but I'd rather roast them now."

"Oooooh?" D said, handing her a stick with a marshmallow on it. "You're a brave woman."

Tori waved back, having a feeling she hadn't met her either. "Hey. I don't think we've met yet. I'm Tori." She smiled.

"Thanks D." Tori grinned and took the marshmallow. "I try to be." She winked.

"Welcome." D laughed. "So, what's the word? Any cuties or complete weirdos in the crowd?"

"Would you roast them over the stove?" Aeryn wonders.

Yeah, it's been a while since she's had a conversation like this.

"Aeryn," she says. "And that only took us an entire semester."

"Maybe the oven or over the slots of a toaster?" D suggested.

"Better late than never?" Tori chuckled. "It's nice to meet you Aeryn."

"There were a few cuties, definitely." Tori grinned brightly. "No weirdos so far." She admitted, chuckling lightly.

"I think that might get messy. Am I really considering this?" she asks, catching herself.

Aeryn's bad at conversation most times, but figures she should get used to trying it. "Are you staying the whole summer, or just part of it?"

"The whole summer, yes. You?" Tori smiled. "I'm TAing for a couple workshops and working at Book Haven."

"Only the first half. I'm TA'ing but don't know if I know that yet. I'd like the make sure the other parts of the school don't blow up before I feel right leaving it," she says.

"Unless we're having a shared hallucination? Yes." D laughed. "Just don't name the s'more and you'll be fine."

"That's cool." Tori grinned. "Oh yeah, I sure hope nothing like that happens." She chuckled.

"So, details?" D grinned as she picked up a graham cracker.

There appeared to be chocolate at the campfire and that was always a good thing, so Stark decided now would be a good time to go sit by said campfire.

"Are you sharing?" he asked hopefully.
