Jackalope, Campire, Wednesday Morning

Ronan had gotten up again, a few hours after the naked mutiny, and discovered that the electricity was absent. Including the electricity that powered the hot water heater. He fiddled around a bit in the bathroom before grabbing the electric kettle from the living room (completely missing the fact that there was a plain, metal one as well), filling it, and taking it out to the campfire, where he spoke six words to it that set it whistling in a matter of seconds. He made his tea, and sat back enjoying the morning sunlight.

"I love wizardry," he said.

There was a sign on the bathroom door that said:

Power's out, but I've talked to the
showerheads so we've got hot water.
-Ronan

(ooc: open. feel free to wander by and marvel at the mysteriously boiling electric kettle.)

Cordelia laughed for the first time all morning. "Someone tried to soul you? Harsh. Xander? Or Willow? Or Buffy?"

"Long story," Seely said. "You know Buffy?"

Cordelia nodded. "Yes. She was the new girl at Sunnydale High, I tried to be her friend, but then she almost staked me one night, so I let her continue on her spiral of downward mobility."

She crinkled her nose.

Seely frowned. "I'm pretty sure Buffy's never been to any place called Sunnydale."

"The Buffy I know has," Cordy answered resolutely. "But apparently, this is some other version of her."

"I was going to say, Head Cheerleader isn't exactly downward mobility."
