Camp gym, Cheerleading Tryouts, 10:00-12:00, Saturday

Buffy might be a little grumbly about certain nekkid cheerleaders who were currently in detention, but she was still more cheerful than she had been yesterday. It was time for tryouts!

She hauled out mats, created a little judges area and made sure the audience area was clean and shiny. After all new cheerleaders might be sitting there! After a moments thought she went and got sheets of paper and pencils, plus bottles of water for the judges. Then she leaned back and decided it was good.

The cheerleader tryouts may begin!

Pam? Still not sure how this had happened to her.

But she was there. And she had a cheer and everything. Sure, it was Scranton High's fight song with words changed, but it would work.

"Come on all you rabid gremlins,
Cheer for Fandom High!
For we are here to back our fighting gremlins
On to victory -- Fight fight fight!

We've got spirit, we can't be beat!
For our team is beyond, defeat!

And to her credit, she clapped and raised her arms over her head, and was much louder than she was used to being.

She was still embarrassed, though.

Valentine didn't seem too terribly phased by the thought of getting up in front of people to potentially make a fool of himself waving his arms about and chanting patriotic cheers about the home team. He'd do what needed to be done for his audience, after all.
Rhythm, Valentine had. Expressive arm movement was a given as he mimed bitey teeth and did jazzhands for emphasis every time the word 'glitter' was mentioned. And his Irish accent didn't hurt the cheer much, either.

It was entirely possible, however, that his vocal execution of the cheer itself needed a little work. He was more used to raising his voice for panicked screaming than for actually cheering someone on.
