Main Campfire, Monday Morning

Ronan had gotten out of bed not long before midnight to take care of his apology to Buffy; he'd left a note for John in case the other woke up while he was gone, but this was definitely something he'd needed to do.

He'd prepared the spell over the last day, and it was a simple matter to release it onto Curupira cabin. Curupira was exactly the same as it had been -- except that, for twenty-four hours from midnight to midnight, it was going to be made of glitter. Or, well, a glittery material that would actually stay up, but. The inhabitants and their personal belongings weren't altered in any way, but the physical structure of the cabin and attached things like doors, faucets, and outlets were all glittery. Severely glittery. In a way that sparkled and shone.

His next work led him to the middle of the camp. When he was done, hanging over the main campfire pit were giant, sparkling letters. GIANT ones. Each about twice the height of Buffy.

It was now around 6AM, and Ronan was coming back out (again, leaving a note for John) to sit below the words, beside the campfire pit. He was wearing his typical black clothing, but the cloth glimmered like a captured starfield -- one might even say that it were glittery. And probably many people would.

He was waiting for Buffy to wake up, but truly anyone could come by and ask him, "WTF, man? Seriously, WTF?" He'll be here until his workshop second period.

(OOC: So this is Ronan's apology to Buffy. Here's hoping it saves him from repeated application of frying pan of DOOOOM. Wide open, as these posts tend to be. Also, the cabin will be glittery until midnight; the words will persist until then, as well. Feel free to mod whether or not your Curupira cabin member wakes up covered in glitter. Anything Ronan puts on all day will be glittery. Can it plz now be tiem for not maiming? :D )

(Also, posting now because I'm sick and I don't know how early I'd actually be able to post tomorrow and stuff. Not for Sunday's radio broadcast, but definitely fine for Monday's. I will be SP for the next little while.)

"My cabin is glittery!" Buffy exclaimed, loudly and happily to the world as she stepped out of Curupira. She was pretty glittery herself. Then she spotted the giant sparkling letters (it was hard no to) and Ronan. She hesitated, then slowly approached him. "Did you make my cabin glittery?"

Buffy took all that in and thought about it while eying him a little suspiciously. He did seem sincere though. And glittery. Embracing the glitter would obviously make him a better person... And the cabin was so awesomely glittery...

She grinned at him. "Okay, I think I forgive you." And return the frying pan to Dawn.

Buffy giggled. "No, probably not. But I'm good with midnight. It's traditional, isn't it? Stroke of midnight and stuff? Disney told me so."

"I totally didn't," Buffy agreed. She looked up at the letters and grinned. "...I might have to let some people know that it's no longer necessary to dig out your liver with a rusty spoon."

"I have some really good friends," Buffy shrugged. She grinned again and bounced a little because it was a glittery, glittery day. "How did you make the cabin glittery anyway?"

"Wizardry is awesome," Buffy decided. She also decided that she should try to get a photo of the cabin and the letters of apology at some point before they went away.

Buffy bit her lip, considering it. "Weeeeell, okay. If you promise no pervy tea fancying."

John was walking by the campfire on his way to class when his eyes were assaulted by the glittery sign. And then he noticed his...Ronan sitting under it.
"Uh, so...more glitter. How does glitter solve problems exactly?" John snickered a bit.

"I have to say the glitter suits you," John had noticed Ronan's glittery clothes. "I assume this glitter isn't going to cause her cabin to explode into the boykissy then," he smirked cuz he thought this was all very amusing.

[ooc: I totally meant to strike through that His... bit!]

Oh, John had definitely thought about kissing Ronan more, but this was the main campfire. John wasn't a public sorta guy.

"I, uh, look forward to playing to that urge after classes," he smarmed said in a gentlemanly manner. "And I'm glad to see Buffy's roommates haven't injured you yet."

He wished he could stay at the campfire longer, but he did have treasure hunting class. Not that the teacher seemed the type to care about promptness.

"Right, pie!" John grinned. "There will be much pie. You wanna meet me in the cabin after fifth? Then we can head to town for pie and shopping."
