The nurse at the clinic had been kind enough to handwavily stitch up Isabel's arm and clean out and bandage up all the various scratches she received while trying to get away from the psycho in the woods.

Not about to walk back to the cabins in the dark, Isabel convinced Peter to come back to the dorms till morning.

"Do you think we can find something amusing to watch?" Isabel asked as she took a seat on the couch after turning on every light she could find. "Somehow? I'm just not in the mood for a horror movie at the moment."

Peter set about making them some hot chocolate. "I hear there's a show about haircutters on. It's no Top Model, but could be fun."

"As long as it's not about psycho haircutters, that'll be fine," she nodded, gingerly reaching for the remote. "What channel?"

"Same one as Project Runway," Peter said. He brought the hot chocolate over. "Here. Good for what ails you."

Isabel turned on the channel, and took the hot chocolate. "Thank you. For this and for coming back here tonight. I couldn't imagine going back through the woods tonight."

Peter sat down next to her. "What are friends for? How's your arm?"

"And I've got good friends," she smiled before shrugging her uninjured arm. "I'll survive."

"I'm happy about that at least," Peter said. "Do you think you should go to the cops?"

"I'll stop by the sheriff's tomorrow and talk to him," Isabel nodded. "I've only half been listening to radio, but I wonder if this is why the clinic's been so busy."

"Entirely possible," Peter said. "Think you'll need company?"

She actually had to think about that for a minute. "I think I can handle it. But I wouldn't turn down company and an ice cream afterwards."

"Deal," Peter said. "My treat."

"It's a date," Isabel smiled, then leaned back against the couch. "So they're competing to be the best stylist?"

A smile touched Peter's lips, then he remembered they were talking about TV. "Uh - yeah. Sounds stupid, but it's kind of addictive."

Isabel realized exactly what she'd said and turned a bit pink. "The big question is? Is it mockable? Because that's a very important requirement for stupid yet addictive TV."

"It's folks acting like hairstyling is greater than the cure for cancer," Peter said. "The mockery writes itself."

"Oh. Well in that case, come get comfy and let's mock," she said, patting the cushion next to her. "I don't suppose we'd be lucky enough for a marathon would we? Because I don't think I'm ready to sleep tonight."

"If not I'm sure we can find something," Peter said. "Switch over to VH1 for an I Love The Five Minutes Ago marathon."

"They did take that idea and beat it into the ground didn't they?" Isabel asked, taking a sip of her hot chocolate. "And this is really, really good. Perfect comfort food."

"You should see my coffee making skills," Peter said.

"Does it extend to bacon and eggs? Or is it limited to just boiling water?"

"Is that a challenge?" Peter asked. "Because I'll throw down."

"It was an honest question," Isabel insisted. "But if you wanted to make a challenge of it? Well I'm not going to back down."

"I could make breakfast tomorrow," Peter said.

"Breakfast and ice cream? I could wind up spoiled," Isabel smiled.
