Thursday evening, Sphinx Campfire

Luna ran to the campfire, which was not lit. However sitting next to it was Princess Serenity (modded with permission). "There you are. Do you know how much i worried young lady? Where have you been?" It is amazing how chiding a little plush blue cat could be.

It was all chiding that Serenity had grown quite used to and she nodded her head and made small little sounds of agreement while rolling her eyes and looking the other way and waited impatiently for the tirade to finish.

"Are you done?" she asked when Luna stopped to take a breath.

"Quite. Have you found a way to the moon?" she asked. hopping onto the girl's shoulder.

"Um, no, not yet," Serenity admitted, shifting her eyes away. She hadn't found Endymion, either. And then she looked back over to the cat on her shoulder with a significant glance. "Shouldn't you have been finding the way back to the moon?"

'Yes" Luna said, hiding her face in a paw. "But i was looking for you, i was worried you know." She glanced at the un-lit fire. "Let me at least make us some light and warmth." She jumped up into the air flipped twice, and as she landed sparks flew and the neatly stacked firewood in the campfire started burning, the flames merrily dancing away.

At which point, Serenity decided to ask something she'd always wondered about Luna. "Are those flips really necessary?"

"Of course!" Luna said with great hurt in her voice. "Why do you question it, you know this is how it works. It has always been this way." She sighed. "It is just like you need to swish and flick the Scepter of Illumination before using it, or pose right after a transformation."

Beaming slightly, Serenity nodded, chuckling slightly. "I suppose you're right, Luna. It's been such a long day..." She daintily covered her mouth with one hand as her other arm stretched up as she yawned. "I must be getting tired. I almost am starting to feel unlike myself a bit."

"Perhaps we should find you a place to sleep." Luna looked around, as if searching for a palace befitting the princess.

"We can stay in there," Princess Serenity pointed to the cabin. "I checked it out earlier, and there's such nice little alcoves with cute comfy bed and I just had a feeling that it would be okay if we slept in one of those." She smiled brightly at Luna. "It was like I had this little voice in my head telling me I belonged there."

"You really shouldn't listen to the voices in your head you know..." Luna said, worry in her voice. "but if you looked, it may be alright. You would know if there were youma around."

"It's very safe," Serenity nodded with certainty. "And comfy! I already oh-so-handwavily took a nap there; I needed a nap after dinner."

"Alright. I will check it out when we go in, But you should sleep soon." Luna circled and curled up. "Tomorrow first thing we will figure out how to get back home. I do nto like styaingin a strange place."

"Me, either." Serenity tilted her head a little toward her Guardian and sighed a little. "I think you were right. Endymion's not in this part of Earth."

That sheriff fellow was rather handsome, though.

"I am always right" Luna said, a bit sleepily. She was feeling a little odd as well.
