The Gym, Wednesday Evening

Adam made his way down to the gym, making sure to stretch appropriately for the sparring match. He didn't want to accidentally pull something during the match. That? Would be a very, very bad thing.

He had brought a couple water bottles with him and a towel, standard gym accessories of course. Adam wondered just how this was going to go.

[OOC: Adam's here for a sparring session with Kou. The gym is open though, if anyone would like to use it! :D]

Kou showed up not long after Adam, grinning at him. "Hey, Adam. Didn't keep you waiting, did I?" He tossed his gym bag on a bench, sitting down to stretch as well.

"Hey Kou." Adam smiled back and shook his head. "No, not at all. I just got here a few minutes ago."

"Oh, good." Kou shifted, moving into a full split to stretch properly. Because yes, he really is that bendy.

"Yeah, no big." Adam chuckled, slightly in awe of the full split. Sure he was flexible, but not that flexible.

Being flexible was something that came in handy in other ways, too. Kou noticed Adam's reaction and had to grin again. "Lots of practice," he explained without prompting. "It startles people sometimes."

"Yeah, it certainly startled me." Adam admitted, grinning sheepishly. The only other person he knew that could pull that off was Kimberly and she was a professional gymnast.

After stretching, Kou got to his feet and shook his arms out. "Ready?"

"Okay." Adam nodded, forming a fighting stance, studying his opponent before choosing to make a move.
