Valentine had a Really Useful Book. Unfortunately, the fact that its only page was a snippet about remembering the things one's mother had said made the aforementioned Really Useful Book... somewhat less than useful. This had to be rectified. It was high time the book got some new pages.

Therefore, Valentine was flipping through television stations, listening to snippets from daytime soaps and trying to pick out anything that might be considered good advice. Clearly, he needed some assistance. The book was looking scared.

Kou hadn't really felt like going down to the picnic yesterday, and it totally hadn't had anything to do with his computer and certain video clips downloaded from the internet. So now, in an attempt to lure people out of their rooms, he'd attached a video game system to the common room television and set up a couple of dance pads. If the obnoxiously catchy Dance Dance Revolution couldn't draw people out, he wasn't sure what could.

Kou really wasn't in the mood to hang out alone in his room, so he only took the time to throw his things in there before going out to the common room. Being gone for that long really threw him out of the loop, so he flopped down on the couch and flipped the tv on. Not that the tv could tell him anything about Fandom, but hey...the sound of a tv could sometimes act as a lure for people. So, he sprawled out and left it on ESPN.

To help Mister Deadpool out, Turtle went through the dorms after work, putting up some posters )

[[ feel free to spot Turtle and say hi, or just react. See Deadpool's post in town for OOC information ]]

Surprisingly, Johnny was in a pretty good mood tonight. His day went rather well despite yesterday and his run in with Dick. That sucked and he knew he should apologize. He would just do it later when he was feeling like it.

Turtle though, man that girl just needed a good turn over his knee and whacked a couple good times on her ass. She was far too uppity for her own good and his shin was sporting an awesome sized bruise because of it.

Right now he leaned down in front if the TV, trying to get the fuzziness of it to go away. He popped the top with his hand. "Come on!"

Adam made his way down to the gym, making sure to stretch appropriately for the sparring match. He didn't want to accidentally pull something during the match. That? Would be a very, very bad thing.

He had brought a couple water bottles with him and a towel, standard gym accessories of course. Adam wondered just how this was going to go.

[OOC: Adam's here for a sparring session with Kou. The gym is open though, if anyone would like to use it! :D]

Adam, not wanting to sit in his room for some handwavey reason, made his way into the common room to check things out.

He was still feeling a bit exploratory, but he settled down on the couch to watch some television and hopefully, meet some people on his floor. There was a bowl of popcorn on the table in front of him and it was totally shareable.

The TV happened to be set on a random sports channel that was currently showing a World Martial Arts tournament.

[OOC: Open says me! For I am bored.]

Being inside the cabin means he can't run away should anyway try to tease him. Being outside, at least, means he can try and run away. Still, it's not like either option is good.

ONE WEEK.

He's been here one week and already he's made a gigantic fool of himself. He didn't even know who Siegfried and Roy were. And he told Luke waaaaaaaay too much. And thought the droid was a tiger.

He pulled a jacket over his head and tried to hide...in plain sight.

[Open! Come and make fun of him all you want or just hang at the campfire!]

The fire was burning nicely, even though it had taken Kou far more matches to light it than he would probably admit. He prodded at the fire with a long stick, waiting until the stick was on fire and then pulling it out to wave it around. Because flames on a stick is somehow fascinating.

It was entirely possible that he wasn't thinking very much right now, considering he had a huge, dopey grin on his face. He'd had a really good night with Z, afterall. Multiplication had always been his favorite subject.

If anyone wanted to join in on the stick-lighting fun, he had gathered a handwavy decent-sized pile of acceptable burny-sticks, and was very willing to share.

((open like a fiery open thing! Pie!))

Donatello had a pencil, a notebook he usually reserved for sketching diagrams or writing down new project proposals, and enough boredom to be coming up with glitter-throwing test ideas. Not that he expected to use them himself (whether or not it worked on turtles as well as humans), but it was something to do while he didn't have a computer.

[OOC: Open to whomever! Come interrupt the terrapin. :D ETA: Commuting home now, gone for at least an hour. Will pick up pings when I get home. :)]
