Third Floor Common Room, Late Sunday Evening
Rikku had no idea why she was up. She should be tired, but she wasn't. Go figure!
Luckily, her Monday class wasn't until after lunch, so it was okay if she stayed up late. She'd even remembered to bring snacks this time. Lots of sugary goodness and crunchy stuff.
The TV said it was a Movie Monster Marathon and Rikku was learning all kinds of stuff. She felt like taking notes. She'd have to ask someone later if any of these creatures were real or not. Most of them weren't anywhere in Spira, that was for sure.
(so very open!)

"Oh, these zombies are definetly fake." He pointed at the screen. "If you look carefully at the left half of the screen, you can see a few members of the production crew in the background."
He leaned back against the couch. "The zombies that invaded the school during the second month I was here, and the zombies that work at Caritas are most definietly real, however."

She munched on more chips. "It's kinda weird, 'cause your zombies don't turn green or anything. And they don't turn other people by touching them. It's like there should be a different word for it or something, 'cause it's all confusing."

"We could refer to these ones as Faux Zombies. Faux!Zombies? Fombies? Perhaps something else entirely different?"

Hamlet affected a mock-serious tone."My Lady Rikku, would you doing me the great honour of allowing me to share your chips with you?"
He even threw a royal bow (well, as much as was possible from slouching on a couch) to her.

She giggled at the bow. "Why, I would be delighted to, Sir Hamlet! I am honored by the request and by your, uh, extending your graciousness to touching these humble and lowly chips."
She bowed back (while still on the couch, natch) and handed him the bag, still giggling.

He considered both Rikku's description and the movie on the screen. "The kind you mention definitely seems different from the kind that invaded. Those ones dragged themselves slowly through town, and needed to be shot to be killed for good. They didn't make anyone at the school a zombie.
He paused. "As far as I know. It would have explained a lot about that one student who was obsessed with bodily functions."

"If they move slow, that makes 'em easier to hunt, right? That's good, at least." She nodded, and then giggled a little. "And I don't think I knew that student, and I think maybe I'm glad."

Hamlet just starred at Rikku with that last comment. "I don't even want to think about it. And now I find myself pondering how squirrels take notes on all these things."
