Third Floor Common Room, Late Sunday Evening

Rikku had no idea why she was up. She should be tired, but she wasn't. Go figure!

Luckily, her Monday class wasn't until after lunch, so it was okay if she stayed up late. She'd even remembered to bring snacks this time. Lots of sugary goodness and crunchy stuff.

The TV said it was a Movie Monster Marathon and Rikku was learning all kinds of stuff. She felt like taking notes. She'd have to ask someone later if any of these creatures were real or not. Most of them weren't anywhere in Spira, that was for sure.

"Sometimes the bad ones are better than the good ones," Z said. "It's all very deep or something."

"Maybe it's just nothing can suck that hard without there being some goodness in it." Rikku considered. "No, 'cause some things just suck. I'm kinda lost on this one."

Z shrugged. "It's not supposed to make sense. It just is."

"Obviously, you shouldn't question the Zen," Rikku giggled. "That's very anti-Zen, right there."

"And being anti-Zen would be bad," Z said. "So, yeah. Just go with it?"

"Go with the flow. Find your mellow." She tilted her head a little. "Hey, why is yellow mellow, anyway?"

Z tilted her head and thought about it, too. "Because it rhymes and is my favorite color?" she suggested.

"Ooooh, it is? Mine's orange," Rikku said. "I love yellow, but it just never seemed mellow to me. It's all bright and sunny and hooray! but that's not very mellow is it?"

She shook her head. "I bet you're right about the rhyme thing, though."
