Third Floor Common Room, Late Sunday Evening

Rikku had no idea why she was up. She should be tired, but she wasn't. Go figure!

Luckily, her Monday class wasn't until after lunch, so it was okay if she stayed up late. She'd even remembered to bring snacks this time. Lots of sugary goodness and crunchy stuff.

The TV said it was a Movie Monster Marathon and Rikku was learning all kinds of stuff. She felt like taking notes. She'd have to ask someone later if any of these creatures were real or not. Most of them weren't anywhere in Spira, that was for sure.

(so very open!)

"At least you had an alcove to yourself in the cabins," Donnie pointed out. "But the dorms aren't bad, really. I think I miss the campfires the most. They seemed friendlier than the common rooms, somehow."

"I don't know, I think the common rooms are pretty friendly." Of course, Seely was getting semi-regular make-out sessions in the common rooms, so he was kind of biased.

Donnie tilted his head slightly. "I'll probably get used to them," he said finally. "It's just weird having so many people to interact with."

"Things will calm down some after everyone finishes settling in. They usually do."

"I hope so," Donnie said, leaning back against the couch with a sigh. "Where are you from, by the way? You seem pretty comfortable with the weirdness around here."

"Pittsburgh," Seely replied, rubbing the back of his neck. "Which is actually pretty normal, but you stick around here long enough, you get used to things."
