Third Floor Common Room, Late Sunday Evening

Rikku had no idea why she was up. She should be tired, but she wasn't. Go figure!

Luckily, her Monday class wasn't until after lunch, so it was okay if she stayed up late. She'd even remembered to bring snacks this time. Lots of sugary goodness and crunchy stuff.

The TV said it was a Movie Monster Marathon and Rikku was learning all kinds of stuff. She felt like taking notes. She'd have to ask someone later if any of these creatures were real or not. Most of them weren't anywhere in Spira, that was for sure.

"There was a thing on the television with people talking about a knife that could cut through metal cylinders, which I learned are called cans, to prove its sharpness!" Aravis explained.

"Oh!" Z realized. "That was an infomercial. That's an entirely different kind of fiction, in that they're trying to sell you whatever they're showing you, which is usually not all that."
