Setsuna had been in a rather...insanely good mood all day. Particularly insane for her, from her ~~super handwavey~~ morning training to her workshop that afternoon and her ~~super handwavey~~ after workshop afternoon training. And she was still sitting there with energy to spare. As for the source of this unbound energy that even a ridiculous amount of training hours couldn't drain (if anything, they almost seemed to have fueled her more)? Certainly nothing to do with a certain gaining of a boyfriend, an event that probably should have happened ages ago. Nope. Not at all. Just like that event had nothing to do with the fact that she was baking brownies right now. Not like brownies might have any sort of significance there, or that she was making them with Alphonse in mind for that specific reason, or anything. Nope. Not at all.

She was making a lot, though, with everyone else in mind, too, to disguise that she was making any sort of big deal out of this or anything.

And, yes, they are actually edible, thank you.

"It is an interesting class," Setsuna smiled. "I'm actually one of the TAs. The ninja one is a lot of fun; I've been doing that sort of training for a while, though, so some of it feels a little repeative for me, as Yondaime-sensei caters to different levels, and arts and crafts is a fun diversion."

"Oh! I've forgotten..." Her cheerful disposition drained a moment for a slight sneer, "Interdisciplinary Studies..."

"Oh, that's great! I bet that's a fun role to have in that class." Adam grinned. "I'm trained as a ninja too, though possibly not what people might think around here. I'm no assassin, that's for sure." He chuckled. "I've studied Shaolin Kung Fu since I was young."

Adam raised an eyebrow. "Not a fan favorite, I gather?"

"No, not at all," Setsuna's nose scrunched again, and she quickly bounced back to happier topics, because, yay, fighting schools! "I've been trained in the Shinmei Ryuu school since I was young, myself. It's a school that focuses mostly on special sword attacks, but martial arts are a very intrigal part of the training." She gave a very important nod.

"Wow. I'm mostly trained in hand-to-hand combat, but I have been trained in staff and sword fighting." Adam explained.

Because, clearly, she wasn't hyper and babbly enough as it was, Adam had to mention a sword. "Really? What kind of sword? I was trained with a nodachi, which is a Japanese longsword. They're fairly rare, because everyone and their brother tend to learn on katana."

"I have training using a niuweidao, basically a Chinese broadsword." Adam answered. "I'm not so sure on it's rarity, it was pretty common with civilians during the Qing dynasty."

He was intrigued. "I've never seen a nodachi before, if I'm remembering correctly."

Setsuna nodded. "Not a bad sword at all," she smiled. "I actually have Yuunagi...that's my sword...down in the salle, along with my katana...that's Daisuke...and my Western broadsword, Eleanor...down in the salle. If you're interested, I'm more than happy to let you have a look at her. She's a gorgeous piece of work; I've had her since I was ten, although I couldn't get much use out of her then; she was practically taller than I was! She still is pretty tall for my size, but I am short..."

"Wow, those are great swords." Adam admitted, with a smile. "Really? I'm definitely interested, thanks! She sounds like a great sword."

"Thank you," Setsuna's bowed a little bit in smiling gratitude for the compliment. "She truly is."

"You're welcome." Adam grinned, meaning it.
