The Roof, Saturday [after detention]

Adam was feeling a bit sore due to detention, but other than that, he was okay.

Having taken a shower and gotten cleaned up, Adam made his way up to the roof to relax. It was quiet up there, though he wouldn't mind some company.

Jim crossed the roof to sit on the ledge, looking out over town. "I keep telling myself to get out more . . . didn't think I'd be sticking around long enough to make friends, so I didn't try in the beginning."

"It was definitely not what I expected," Adam chuckled, shrugging. "I had History in Action, the History of Witchcraft and Building a Better Fighter. The fighter workshop was the most strange, that's for sure."

Adam laughed, nodding. "That's true. I forget that sometimes, I'm still getting used to this place," he admitted. "It was quite the workshop. We had to fight different creatures and each other whenever we met. It was taught by a guy named Kenpachi, had quite a temperament," Adam explained. "The last class was a tournament and we had to fight one another to reach the top and it's still going on."
