The roof, Thursday afternoon

There was music everywhere. The song currently following her was vaguely disturbing, but at least it was danceable, so River had made her way to the roof, and now spun around the the music. For once it wasn't just in her head.

I count the corpses on my left, I find I'm not so tidy
So I better get away, better make it today
I've cut twenty-three down since Friday
But I can't control it, my face is drawn
My instinct still emotes it

I slash them cold, I kill them dead
I broke the gooks, I cracked their heads
I'll bomb them out from under the beds
But now I've got the running gun blues

River was spinning wildly, nearly losing her balance. At least the song got less worrying when she was dancing. Then it suddenly changed into something slower, making her change the style of her dancing.

Here am I floating round my tin can
Far above the Moon
Planet Earth is blue
And there's nothing I can do.

[open as a roof]

... And that may have crushed Troy's heart, just a little. "Oh," he said, his smiling fading for just a second. Because she was pretty, and seemed nice, and loved dancing.

That was... better, anyway. Troy missed any possible innuendo that may or may not have been intended by 'dancing', though, and simply smiled. "Yeah, it is."

He could totally support her. And he did so. "Troy," he replied. "I'm new."
