Fourth Floor Common Room; Wednesday Evening.

Slumped comfortably on the couch, A.J. sat sketching, with a very untouched sandwich sitting on a plate on the nearby endtable. He was working on a new piece of abstract art and ended up getting rather engrossed in it. To a point where he not only forgot about the sandwich, but he was also forgetting about where he was, what he was doing, what it was about. Entirely caught up in the moment. He loved when the art took on a force of its own and simply seemed to be using him and his pencils as a channel for giving them life....

[[ open, of course, as common rooms are, yay! ]]

"Aaaah, what's that supposed to mean?" She mock pouted, folding her arms across her chest.

She looked up at him through her lashes, poking her bottom lip out more, "Can too, Pout Master the second."

"Nooo, you're Pout Master the second. I'm the first." She grinned cause trying to pout got old fast.

Sighing, Annette slouched back against the couch, stretching her legs out in front of her, and stared at the TV. "This channel always makes you hungry. How old are you, A.J.?"

"Seventeen," she said, turning around to look at him.

"March fifteenth," she replied. "Yours?"

She shook her head, grinning, "Fine by me. No one likes a pouter anyway. Unless your're totally cute at it." She paused. "Okay, so like your're totally cute at it. But are you going to be a senior or a junior?"

"Senior," she muttered. So they were both seventeen, both seniors, and he was older. Hmm.

She nodded, "Unless my parents drag me home before that can happen."

Annette frowned. Was that one of the reasons her parents sent her here? Less to worry about. That seemed so...unparent like.

"I think you and I have more in common than we realize." she said softly, staring back at the TV.
