Second Floor Common Room, Saturday Evening

Kou really wasn't in the mood to hang out alone in his room, so he only took the time to throw his things in there before going out to the common room. Being gone for that long really threw him out of the loop, so he flopped down on the couch and flipped the tv on. Not that the tv could tell him anything about Fandom, but hey...the sound of a tv could sometimes act as a lure for people. So, he sprawled out and left it on ESPN.

After her stressful, depressing day, Turtle intended to check and see if there were any interesting discussion going on in any of the news networks about the falls. But the TV was being used already. Crap. "You!" she said, because she wasn't sure if she remember this guy's name, but she did remember him as the towel hallway guy. "You're wearing pants! Good for you!"

Seriously, it was quite a relief. She plopped onto the couch next to him. "Could you turn it to CNN real quick?" she asked, as politely as she could.

"Huh? Oh, yeah. Special occasion," Kou replied with a smirk. "Sure, but I'm changing it back in ten minutes tops." He picked up the remote and changed the channel for her.

"That's fine," Turtle said. "If they are talking about the market, anything more than ten minutes will just make me depressed again."

"The market?" Kou asked, looking at the tv. CNN was, in his opinion, one of the 'skip through' channels - on the same equivalent as the Televangelist Channel and the Home Shopping Channel. "Why're you depressed about that?"

"It's been down," Turtle said, her forehead wrinkling with concern. "Big time, and it keeps falling. Not good..."
