Second Floor Common Room: Tuesday morning

There was a rather cranky Jack in the common room this morning, and he was cursing a certain temporary Principal under his breath. He was bruised from falling on his...posterior when the floating spell had worn off. The shirt she'd cursed him with he'd thrown in the garbage and contemplated setting fire too, and he was still fighting the urge to scratch his chest (though he was prepared to admit that might just be in his head).

What wasn't in his head, however, were the scratches and redness from yesterday's magic induced attack of the itchies, scattered all over that part of the body traditionally covered by a shirt.

And no, he wasn't wearing one. He was giving serious thought, as he sat on the kitchen counter, drinking his coffee, to never wearing one ever again. Just to make a point.

[ooc: it is a common room of openness!]

Irulan reddened, "I suppose I looked rather foolish but without coffee in my system I tend to be a bit... 'spaced out' I think is the term?"

That was certainly a blush, no denying that. "Oh, thank you, erm..." Irulan tried to search for anything to say that won't lead to embarrassment, "you have lovely complexion."

...which that most certainly was.

This time Irulan managed a small chuckle, "I do seem to say the most random things." She looked down and said shyly, "I missed your company, Jack Harkness."

She smiled at him over the rim of her cup, "I think I better appreciate Fandom after my months stay at home."

"If only," she said with some humor, it was astonishing how distance seem to make the memory less stifling, "but I was under the Reverend Mother's eye since the day I arrived home. She was not the most pleasant company."
