Fourth Floor Common Room, Wednesday Evening

Mikey seemed rather pleased with himself, indeed. He had put up his pillowfort, Cabin Mutant Ninja, over the course of the day and hauled the microwave back to the cabin's front door. There was a small mountain of microwaveable pizzas, a heap of ingredients for s'mores (which Mikey was already sticking onto his pizzas as toppings) and a stack of zombie movies nearby, and he had made a point to structure his pillowfort cabin so that the front door was facing the television.

The Mutant Ninja paper-towel flag was flying high above the door, the ninjas that Charlie had been kind enough to draw for him standing a rebellious eight inches or more to one another in scale, and he had made more signs to post on his cabin using more paper towel.

"You realize how much trouble we're going to be in because of this?" Donatello asked, peering into the pillow fort somewhat dubiously.

"Naaah," Mikey said with a grin and a dismissive wave of his free hand, the other covered in melted marshmallow and tomato sauce. "We're too cool for trouble, dude."

Really, "Trouble" ought to have been his middle name. Which, in retrospect, would have been easier to achieve if he had a last name, too.

"Besides, any time is a good time for pizza and zombies, right?"

"True..." Donnie said slowly. "But being cool has never stopped Splinter from handing down cleaning duty. Or assigning more reps."

Sokka blinked at Donnie. "How many of you are there?" he asked.

"In here? Just three," Donnie said, grinning slightly.

Raph came into the common room, a bunny under one arm and a pillowcase (which was too heavy to be full of pillow) slung over one shoulder. He'd received an handwavey invitation to join the pillow fort party, and heck if he was going to decline a chance to break rules.

Donnie blinked, half-surprised to see Raph, and waved his elder brother over to the fort. "Hey! Come see what Mikey's latest scheme is," he invited, smiling hesitantly.

"Hey." Raph nodded to Donnie briefly, wandering over to check things out. He seemed a little bemused by the 'fort', but at least he didn't seem hostile. The older turtle shifted to put down his pillowcase, then held 'Leo' out to Donnie. "Hold him a sec."

Sokka nodded suavely at Raph. "Yo," he said.

Because waving frantically and yelling "HI SNOWMONSTER" had only gotten glares from the turtle in the past.

Billy blinked at the change in the common room decor, but he couldn't say he disagreed with the sign.

"Rebelling, and zombie movies? And snuggling with the opposite sex? All in one party? I believe you may be a genius."

"He has his moments," Donnie agreed, amused. "Every once in a while, and then he spends a long time making up for it with less than stellar ideas."

Billy snickered. "You're, Donatello?"

Mikey was doing a whole lot of revelling in his genius.

"I'm smaaaart," he commented, and then promptly slopped more marshmallow onto his pizza.

Billy gaped at the guy's choice of pizza topping. "I'm told geniuses are often misunderstood." he said.

Adam entered the common room and stopped, taking in the fort. "Whoa."

Sokka waved frantically at Adam, and yelled "HI SNOWMONSTER!!!"

Adam waved back, chuckling at Sokka's greeting. "Hey Sokka, how's it going?"

"It is impressive," Donnie agreed. "Care to settle in for some impertinence and popcorn?"

"That it is," Adam kind of stared at it for a moment before smiling. "Sure, I'm in."

Mikey was very, very proud of his fort. "Welcome to Mutant Ninja Cabin, dude!"

"Hey Roomie, keeping out of trouble?"

"Is there any more popcorn down here?" Sokka asked as he walked into the room. "We ran out upsta-- DUDE!!!"

He stood and gleed (gleeed? glee'd? Acted in a gleeful manner, anyways) at the pillow fort. "DUDE!!! AWESOME!!!"


"Hey, I was gonna do my own thing upstairs for the night... Mind if I come join you guys instead?"

"I'd say so," Donnie said with a cheerful smile and nod to Sokka. "The more the merrier, right?" And the more people, then hopefully they would not all be changed into rocks or similar.

"Dude, the more the merrier," Mikey agreed with a nod. "There's no popcorn, but the campfire-ro-wave-thing can totally nuke some up for you if you know where to gat some, dude."
