The Kiss-In -- Friday After Workshops, The Gym

Luckily, the Gym had been set up last night before the unfortunate changing into an animal incident.

There was a sign-in sheet and a table full of refreshments. There were also a lot of blankets spread out on the practice mats on the floor for more comfortable seating arrangements. There were signs all over the gym that said:

WELCOME TO THE FANDOM HIGH KISS-IN!!!!

There was another sign by the table that listed the rules:

1) Kiss anyone you like for as long as you like.
2) Not comfortable with kissing? Huggings are just fine.
3) Shirts are optional.
4) If you find yourself getting carried away, please take it somewhere private. We're protesting, but not everyone is not public orgies.
5) Have fun breaking the no PDA and 8 inches apart rules!

As of yet, Savannah was not there, but everything else looked to be in order.

There was no reason to wait for her to be there to start your protesting.

Anders was trying to stick to bottled water for now, having just brushed his teeth and all. He was more interested in scanning the room for any sign of Savannah, since his conversation with Eve last night had left him worried.

Well, it would either enhance his chances tonight, or look obnoxious. He decided to be optimistic and removed his shirt for the rest of the evening.

Anders could have immediately gone up to Johnny and grilled him about his intentions with Savannah, but at the moment he was a little more concerned about the fact that he hadn't seen her.

"Hey, Storm," he said, making his (shirted, at least for now) way over. "Wasn't Savannah supposed to be organizing this thing? Where is she?"

"Hey, Anders," Johnny said evenly. "Savannah isn't exactly herself so I'm not sure she's going to show. And if she does, I'll be watching over her." Yes, he stated that as a fact, even though he wasn't sure it would go down like that.

". . . not exactly herself usually means funky things in Fandom," Anders said after a moment's hesitation. "I'm just worried, I haven't seen her since yesterday when she wasn't feeling good."

He shook his head and eyed Johnny thoughtfully. "You'd really keep an eye out and look after her, huh?"

"Funky things in Fandom indeed," he stated, knowing damn well that was what happened to her. "Don't worry, she's good. Healthy. Playful," yes, he couldn't help but grin.

"Never doubt it," he replied, eyeing Anders back steadily.

"Playful?" echoed Anders. "Oh, gods, please tell me she's not a puppy or anything . . . swear a week can't go by in this place without something like that happening."

Still, healthy was a reassuring thing, so he relaxed a bit. "You mean that, don't you?"

Johnny's grin grew. "More like a cute panther cub. God, she's precious and --" he caught himself before he said mine, "-- well she's playful."

Cocking his head, he studied Anders, and managed to look a tad sheepish. "Hard to believe?"

A black face with bright blue eyes poked it's way out of the basket under the bleachers to listen to the music.
