Annette was in the kitchen and surrounding her were tons of moddable ingredients for all kinds of cookies. There was frosting galore and decorative toppers for lots of creative cookie fun.

She was in a great mood and feeling much better. There was music playing and she was humming, tying on an apron as she pondered what to make and waited around for the other cheerleaders, and anyone who wanted to stop by and eat their yummy cookies and support the Fandom High Gremlins! Wooo!

River's face lit up at the mentioning of knife throwing. "We have a knife collection on our wall," she said. "Not the throwing kind. Trophies of battle."

"Not at school. Buffy and I had to protect our friends from reavers." There was a longer version of that story, but she saw no reason to go into it.

John was always amazed how River seemed to know exactly what he was asking. "What's a reaver? Another Fandom nasty I should know about?"

"They have never been seen here," River replied. "Insane cannibals who slaughter anyone in their way, if your're lucky before they eat you. Failed government experiment." She giggled at his thought. "I can read your mind."
