Cheer camp! Gym, 10:00-13:00, Sunday

Buffy had missed the cookie baking today. She'd been too busy doing the finishing touches on her plan for the show later today. It was going to be awesome.

She went to the gym and made sure no one had disturbed the cheer camp set up. Then she waited around for the rest of the cheerleaders to turn up.

"Okay! This practice is really important, 'cause our show is at two o'clock. Make me proud," Buffy gave them all stern looks. "I've split us into groups based on, like, who's been attending." She went on to list the names and their groups, and finished with, "Oh, and remember the glitter for the show! ...And left over cookies if there are any."

Hey, nothing drew an audience at this place like free food.

"Ambitious," Buffy said happily. She had no doubts River could pull it off. She'd be watching nevertheless of course. "Ready?"

"Ready." River sprinted up to Buffy and let herself be tossed in the air, arms outstretched. She rotated in midair and landed on one leg, the other one gracefully outstretched to one side, then bent backwards and stood on her hands.

"Nice!" Buffy said, beaming. She stepped over to River and aimed a poke at her leg. "Can you walk on your hands?"

Savannah bounced and then when Annette tossed her, she was able to do a backflip in the air before landing on the ground again.

When she was tossed, she did exactly the same; a backflip, landing easily on the ground with a big dorky grin on her face.

The fact Seely seemed both extra bouncy and just the slightest bit sulky as he practised his kicks had nothing to do with the hickies on his neck, really.

Z practiced kicking while shaking pompoms. It took a surprising amount of coordination.

Annette didn't need to practice yelling, but she did anyway, having fun doing it with her pom poms and doing kicks too.

Molly had missed being able to yell all the time. She wanted to save her voice for the show though so she only yelled a little bit right now.
